Pat Metheny Tokyo Day Trip Live

Trifles and trifling matters. An excellent musician, no doubt, and it's undeniable that albums like "Beyond a Missouri Sky" have an extra edge, but... it’s not like the curly-haired guitarist has ever "dared too much" (aside from Zero Tolerance, which is an unlistenable exercise). If I were him, I would have "dared" to incorporate influences from African musicians (for example) or more daring ensembles (Guitar, sitar, and tablas)... I mean, I shouldn't have to suggest to him what to do. If he made these choices, it also means that his mindset is fairly "circumscribed" and in search of "reassurances" about what he already knows how to do (mostly quite well). But when it comes to COURAGE, let’s just forget about it... right!

Forgive me, but this Pat Metheny has FRANKLY PISSED ME OFF: he has been making the same album (with minor insignificant variations) for at least the last 15 years without TRUE exploration, without the COURAGE to innovate his style... he is an EXCELLENT craftsman of the guitar and not much more. It takes a lot MORE to be an Artist.

Ah ah ahaha... Blackbeard, you made me laugh... :-))

YES, but Gustavo TANZ.... try to be "credible" in your judgments, for Christ's sake... giving 5 stars to this album at the very least means EITHER YOU HAVEN'T LISTENED TO IT PROPERLY or you vote for the past and/or the character regardless of the album, as many do here.....

No, I'm sorry..... this CD disappointed me. From the flamboyant and talented Beck of Mutations, Odelay, Sea Change, etc., there are only a handful of decent songs left, with bland and colorless rock that is practically irrelevant. Since Guero, we've been disastrously running on empty and the "craftsmanship" has become routine...

Another nice piece of crap in teen sauce...

One of my favorites along with Mellon Collie.

Participated and intense reception. Film not yet seen. I will take care of it...

I would roughly say (knowing this director) that it's a kick in the balls.
Mina Mina Quasi Jannacci

Mina: The greatest waste of vocal talent in Italy... with that voice, she could have contributed much more to the History of Music than just a few beautiful songs.
