Well, if you've stopped at the serial Bonelli productions, I can understand you (I haven't read a Dylan Dog in years either), but there exists a whole "parallel universe" of comics (or Graphic Novels, which sounds cooler) that has little to envy from certain literature. I'm talking about Alan Moore, Will Eisner, Lorenzo Mattotti, Joe Sacco, Hugo Pratt, and dozens of other authors. But like all cool things, it's a matter of "searching," "digging," and discovering things that reach the general public drop by drop...
