As Punisher says, well, if it’s not a masterpiece, 5 stars are excessive... I listened to it, it’s a good job; 3 is, in my opinion, the fairest score.

Nice record, although to be honest, I've listened to better...

Really a great job. Honestly, I didn't know it was from 2004; I only found out a couple of months ago.

Here, we don’t condemn commercial music, my dear; we talk about good or bad music. Just for the record, the BEP are part of that bad.

I'm not exactly a big fan of all the music produced by more or less skilled DJs... a lot of it seems like real garbage to me! This record, however, is really nice, one of the few records of this kind that I can actually listen to! ^_^
Arctic Monkeys Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not

I don't believe the Arctic Monkeys shamelessly copy the Strokes and that the latter have copied them in turn... if we look to the past, we could say that the Ramones, in some ways, copied from the Beach Boys... A band is born out of pieces from other bands, starting by trying to imitate their "musical idols," and these influences end up marking the band's sound... Therefore, reflecting on this, one could say that the Arctic are quite influenced by the Strokes, but they still create a more British, more extroverted rock compared to the New Yorkers and don’t copy the solos. Regarding the technical characteristics, I would say they are certainly not phenomenal, quite the opposite... someone above said they are the Sex Pistols of the 2000s and that's definitely not blasphemy... They are not virtuosos, but what they do, they do well (in my opinion) with good confidence! In the end, they formed in pubs and know well what it means to perform. History has shown us that you don't always have to be a master to make good music.. ^_^

Literally stunning record...I can't wait for their latest album, it's a shame because we're really losing a great band!

Welcome Gemma! Subsonica is definitely a good musical reality.... indeed, I heard they will also perform in America at the South by Southwest Festival, which is no small feat! Honestly, I'm not a big fan of the somewhat "pompous" rock direction they've taken in their latest album, but I agree with you regarding the lyrics, some of which are really good!
