Venom Metal Black

You're right, I'm sorry, and apologies to you, Hybris. I read it quickly while I was doing other stuff... I saw the cover with the goat (which seemed to have something different, but I didn't pay much attention...) I saw black metal instead of metal black, and what I read didn't seem relevant at all. Having clarified this misunderstanding, I still hold the same opinion previously expressed regarding the review's excessive brevity, which was also confirmed by Barlteboom, but it holds a different meaning given the album you reviewed. I'll give it a 5 so my vote will maintain an average of 3.5. Best regards, sorry for the inconvenience.

Sparse review, perhaps too much for an album of this kind. Not so much for its qualities, but for its historical contribution. And then, how could you expect to find pure black metal (as we know it today) in this album? Musically, the genre had not yet been born; this, along with works by Bathory and the like, laid one of the foundations on which it would develop in the following years. I believe your analysis of this album and the historical relevance of everything that happened in those years leading up to the well-known true black metal has been somewhat superficial, if you allow me. But let’s leave the floor to the black metal experts and the birth of the genre.

Decent review. I've never listened to the album, and I've only heard a few tracks from Tristania once, but they didn't really excite me that much.

I don't understand where you see the "The" in front of the name Ramones.

Clear and explanatory message; I would endorse what ocram says, but I am not superstitious.

Communists in the full sense of the term, perhaps not, but metal groups are not just those black ones that profess extreme right views, be careful!

Nice review Fidia, I really like the PS, I’m not sure what you were doing specifically, but if I understood correctly it was something related to work. The fact that you said dreams come true means you succeeded in what you wanted, I’m happy for you. Also, I totally relate to the definition of travel companion associated with DeBaser. @birbabirba: asshole!!! Regards.

Good review, I don't particularly care to listen to the album. I only own "legendary tales" and I would say that is enough material on the subject in my collection. I'm not a big fan of power metal, especially the one with epic/chivalric themes; I often find it banal and simplistic. Your analysis is good, also as a general discourse and not just related to this album. Regards.
