Bathory Nordland I

Nice review, especially for a first one... I’m not familiar with Bathory (only by name), but keep in mind that it was Enslaved (in my opinion) who wrote the definitive word on "viking metal"...
Well, the next review I'll do is for one of their albums (since you like the genre, you could also do it). Now that I'm a bit less tied up with various commitments, I'll write it... thanks again.

Long live the who, I agree, this album is extraordinary: the review is modest, although I would have focused more on the musical side, which cannot be overlooked. Well done, anyway.

It's not easy to talk about an album like this; for me, the review isn't so bad in the end... of course, there are mistakes...

I like the review; it’s concise and sharp. The album is beautiful, they are always great, but over time, as rightly noted, it does get a bit boring... all those digressions could have been avoided.

...maybe I really do write too much, I almost risk boring myself reading my own words :P
1) MuSo, I accept that metal doesn't mean anything to you, even that it might disgust you, but... perhaps try to "feel it" as it should be, without prejudices, without relying on what others might say, good or bad... you might change your mind (maybe!)
2) sfasciacarrozze has invented a new language :) !!!!!!
3) I promise future reviews will be shorter!

I’ll be blunt: Dave Mustaine CANNOT sing at all.

Not a bad review, well done and readable, but the album is what it is (they couldn't do Dirty Deeds their whole life, Angus Young is still jumping around the stage like a madman but... now Bon Scott is gone and they’re even 126 years old!! :P) so, mediocre album, good review.
I quote:
Unforgettable "Burnin' Alive" characterized by one of the first AC/DC lyrics with a "committed" message.
I really didn't get this one, I swear... committed lyrics!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?

Devon, I didn't really see your review :) forgive me... done in good faith!! Thank you for the compliments!
Elrad, why don't you like the review? So I can understand... do I need to brush up on some basic Italian grammar? ;) Was I too harsh (or worse, contradictory) by giving it 3/5?
Anyway, I reiterate: I only gave it a 3 because there are too many (too many) parts of the album that sound unappetizing and unnecessary (and this is coming from someone who grew up on bread, metal, and prophilax ... :P), not to mention that I think they were still quite raw compared to what they put on the new CD (definitely better overall).
