Exactly, Bathory elevated viking metal, and Amon Amarth were, in my opinion, the best heirs of the genre. Great album; it’s true that Hegg's growl is one of the best out there, powerful, warm, and monstrous like a true Viking, yet at the same time desperate and dramatic like a man who has seen his people convert to Christianity. Excellent melodic lines from the guitars and killer drums. A fantastic album. A concise yet fluid and well-crafted review.

very very beautiful. an album where the care for the sound stands out, much richer and more expressive than the albums that follow, despite the poor recording. it feels like listening to a completely different band from the one in DragonTown.

Too bad it was published exclusively in Spain. Shitty songs, by the way. A voice that is nothing short of ridiculous. 'Porno Music' turned out to be an incredibly dull project.
