I just gave a 4 to a review (fleshgrind), I don't want to keep pushing it; and anyway I meant to say that I no longer felt like wasting words on the cliff discussion; I did exaggerate later, but I hope it served a purpose. Let's all try to put an end to it, music is a beautiful thing, let's not ruin it with our arguments. Until next time ;-)

Beautiful, but the audio could certainly have been better.

I didn't agree with him at all, Cliff and I simply have different opinions, and having differing views on something doesn't necessarily mean you have to argue and insult each other. Anyway, I won’t waste too much energy on it... I just hope that in a few years you can come to understand this.

I don't know, Bathory, I really can't stand them; I don't like them. There are so many factors that lead you to hate them, and now I'll list them for you:
1) The first, obvious one, the covers look like they're made by brain-dead people (although they're not the only ones);
2) The second, not so obvious one, the lyrics (mind you, they're nice if you consider the black romanticism they evoke, as someone else has already said, but I don't really respect the people who are into monsters, vampires, and Satan... personal attitude anyway);
3) The singer, or rather, "the little witch dwarf," the most annoying person in the world;
4) The lack of seriousness (they've changed 3-4 record labels, and soon they might even leave Sony) and they've made a ton of useless albums and compilations, clearly for commercial purposes; plus, the lineup changes with every album: only Dani has remained since the first album;
5) For a while now, I've started to hate (or rather, be disgusted by) metal keyboardists, especially theirs. And some riffs and progressions sound too gypsy or just overused to me.
Nothing personal, in fact, other bands that you like also appeal to both of us, but these Cradle ones, definitely not. To each their own... evidently.

Matteo is an uncivilized person, in addition to being a pissed-off big kid who listens to brutal to purify his anger. When I didn't agree with cliff (see the deftones), we always had calm and constructive discussions, without him taking on attitudes of superiority or rudeness. It all depends on how you approach people.. cliff is great, matteo is a big asshole.

The album isn't too bad compared to the standards that NUMETAL has gotten us used to, especially in the last five or six years. And anyway, this isn't the first album by Mudvayne. The name of their first album is The Begin of All Things To End (red cover), exactly the opposite of their latest, which is called The End of All Things To Come (black cover).
