But how can you listen to this stuff???
It sounds like the worst Queen playing songs by Blink 182... We're at Finley levels, and that's saying something...

"Monday At The Hug & Pint" = DISCO SUBLIME!!!
The Delays You See Colours

By the way, Valentine was co-produced by Trevor Horn, and you can definitely tell. The entire album is produced by Graham Sutton from Bark Psychosis, interesting....
The Eagles The Eagles

How disgusting! Terrible music. Outdated and old. A band as useless as America, Toto, Fleetwood Mac, and Supertramp, all bands from trashy FM that should be erased from the musical staff!!!

Imagine, Fosca, I didn't mean to come off as the know-it-all. It's just that when it comes to music, I'm a bit of a stickler for precision... ;-)
Anyway, you wrote an excellent review, and I agree with what you said.
If you like this album, I recommend two other similar things, but they're a bit hard to find (maybe in some second-hand CD shops). One is the O'Rang album "Herd Of Instinct" (O'Rang is the other side of Talk Talk that released an album under this name), and the other is any album by Bark Psychosis, a delightful band of minimal and subtle psychedelia...

I'm sorry Fosca, but does your review refer to Spirit Of Eden by Talk Talk or to Mark Hollis? In the review, you mention 1988, which is the release year of Spirit Of Eden. This album by Mark Hollis came out in 1998, ten years later... ????!!!
Talk Talk The Colour Of Spring

First of all, egebamyasi, congratulations on your choice of reviews... you have excellent musical taste. As for The Colour Of Spring, for me it's the absolute masterpiece of Talk Talk... the perfect balance between the captivating yet somewhat ephemeral pop of the first two albums and the slightly pretentious experimentation of Spirit Of Eden and Laughingstock... But do you have Mark Hollis's solo album from 1998? Truly sublime...

Congratulations on your comment. Being called an "imbecile" by someone who uses the nickname killgod I consider a compliment... go read what I wrote to you privately!!!
