Sondre Lerche Faces Down
Voto:
Maximum points for the excellent proposal. Sondre's album is truly interesting...
Oasis Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants
Voto:
In the irritating meagerness of the after "What's the story", maybe this album isn't completely trash... the fact remains that while Oasis took a step forward with Standing compared to Be Here Now, they are still light-years away from what they showed with the first two albums...
The Mars Volta De-Loused In The Comatorium
Voto:
DARN!!! I knew it! My slowness has punished me! I was there focused on preparing the review of the Mars Volta that they sent me in advance. Well, I can accept that from the great Rivo. I would have given it a bit more than a 3 as a rating anyway. De-loused is an interesting concept album that mixes various musical genres... in my opinion, it’s not bad at all...
Kosheen Kokopelli
Voto:
After some time, 'Resist' didn't blow me away; it gave me the impression of a "dance" album that's hard to keep listening to after the first month of heavy rotation. If with this new work the Kosheen have leaned more towards the Bristol sound, they could really turn out to be a pleasant surprise... I'll take your advice; the excellent review promises a good album...
The Postal Service Give Up
Voto:
DARN.....I come back after a long time and immediately trip up. I made a mistake! As I write in the review, the group is called "Postal Service" and not as in the title "Postmail Service"......my bad....thanks for the editing....there's nothing to be done, I'm getting old!!!!

First of all, a big hello and apologies for my long absence. A huge compliment to those who manage the site, great job.

I only have "Scavengers" by Calla and I must admit it's pretty good. I'm also curious about their latest work. I find them much better than many other Strokes-like rock bands coming from the Big Apple.
Placebo Sleeping With Ghosts
Voto:
I gave the album a quick listen, and perhaps it's too early to judge it. At first glance, it feels light years away from Placebo's best album "Without U I'm Nothing." I have the impression they are slipping into the repetitive...
Turin Brakes Ether Song
Voto:
I almost forgot... if you look around, the limited edition should be available: 20 euros for the album + an additional CD with 4 songs (from Ether Song) played in different versions and the video of PainKiller...

Finally purchased! Beautiful and as you pointed out, not entirely similar to the previous one. I like the Optimist LP and it's thanks to this that I got the last one practically with my eyes closed.
