James Cameron Aliens

"Seen and reviewed things": in 1986?? Well... until then, aside from the first Alien from '79 (and we always talk about Scott), I don't think anyone else was making stuff about bio-mechanical aliens (the first Predator is from 1987).. and then, I mean, how can you say things like "And in any case, the aliens are considerably well-designed," without even mentioning Giger??? Nothing personal, but in my opinion, you've said very little.
Quentin Tarantino Django Unchained

"..detectable in the film's morality that racism is a bad thing (no shit)". This phrase says it all about the film. I really appreciated the idea of a black Django. But I mean, you can't put a finale like that.. (and I won't hint at anything so as not to spoil the 'surprise'). And shall we talk about hip-hop music? Okay, it's Tarantino, but in a western it clashes like a choirboy at a speed-metal concert.. Where are the wide shots?? One, maybe two, the winter one with the snow.. He did more in Inglourious Basterds than in this.. and the cast, aside from Di Caprio, Foxx (who doesn't act horrendously..) and C. Waltz coming from theater, is honestly more than awkward, like Tarantino's cameo in the dynamite scene.. What a shame. Honestly, I stick to the words of a certain Sergio Leone: "It seems to me that today cinema risks a real regression, transforming itself into purely childish entertainment."

To the dearest and presumed 'wayofallflashes'. "No ifs, ands, or buts"? Go ahead and moderate your language, little auditory Führer. I wish for you in life never to have to deal with someone who imposes what they prefer, passing it off as the best solution. People like Bentham and the like have always made me nauseous. I decide what is right for me. Without pretending to impose it on others. And then, I find it quite strange that your comment has 0 days, and is also the only one ever posted on this site, coincidentally on my intervention: now, I hope you are part of the band in question, and at that point, I would understand the reasons for your bitterness. But contrary to that, it could mean that you are the author of this review, awkwardly disguised. If you like this band, I am the last person in the world who will stop you from listening to them. But if, in your view, this is quality stuff, from my humble point of view, our tastes differ not only in musical matters. As for "random crap," I was at Magnolia that June evening in 2011. I saw them. I listened to them. From start to finish. While others literally walked away mocking them. But I wasn't there "by chance": I was looking forward to enjoying Unsane, like most of the audience, who certainly didn’t show up without having dinner at that hour, for a group with rather dubious creative abilities that you so profess as ā€œvalid.ā€ Atmospheric, Space, Funeral, Jesus or Porno-Doom aside, let it be clear...

I have a computer that's acting up. It automatically refreshes the page... and it's making me comment twice. Scary.

I was there at that live show, before Unsane. A band, in my opinion, extremely influenced by foreign styles, and live they were 'vaguely hyped'... if I remember correctly, before Unsane played (yes, UNSANE), the guitarist was throwing himself on the floor like he was Pete Townshend, and all the others had 12-meter cables to roam among the audience during the performance, right at the foot of the stage, leading to an awkward distancing... The vocalist would scream in the ears of anyone within range. Quite problematic if you're waiting to see Chris Spencer... As for "a young band full of ideas," I only agree with the first half of the sentence. Few ideas, too much noise. If you like people screaming in a similar way, I recommend listening to this:

This rocks quite a lot. It sounds like they're still in the '90s, but with a contemporary quality. Unique..

I didn't expect to find so many Michael Bublé fans... I mentioned him because he represents the pseudo-commercial image of yet another audio-Christmas. His image clashes sublimely with the spatial deformities of the Otis. Come on... a little bit of healthy masochistic cynicism is alright, right? And it just so happens that the much-publicized musician in this childish fragment of the year is a perfect litmus test for the continued presence of mumbling mummies of such kind. All this to clarify to anyone who might have stumbled upon this page that we were not talking about the top ten of Radio Deejay...
