Yes, they used to be called "On A Friday," then, I believe in '92, they changed their name to Radiohead, inspired by the Talking Heads. They create a genre that is always in a state of flux; from their very first album "Pablo Honey," they've cultivated a wonderful and complex sound, always cutting-edge and surprising. Personally, I categorize their albums as follows: "Pablo Honey" the punk album, "The Bends" the rock album, "Ok Computer" the experimental album, "Kid A" the electronic album (with post-rock veins and a good dose of almost 'ambient music'), "Amnesiac" I refer to as Kid B (featuring electronics and tracks that sound like the jazz of the future...), "Hail To The Thief" the album mediating between the past and the present, a rock album with hints of their acquired mastery in the art of electronics, a mix of art-rock and avant-garde, which, as mentioned, they have thoroughly mastered.
