Luciano De Crescenzo Così Parlò Bellavista
Voto:
last glimpses of a fading Naples, a film with undeniably successful sketches
Max Gazzè Tra l'Aratro e la Radio
Voto:
maybe five is a bit too much, but in these times...the album is truly incredible, it grows with every listen and, I agree with the previous comment, it marks a small step forward for Italian pop music
Vasco Rossi Il mondo che vorrei
Voto:
The review is academic. I haven't listened to the album, but please alexander77, go back and re-read and, if necessary, re-listen to Vasco Rossi's discography and retract the statement that Rossi wouldn't know how to write a song even if he copied it... because that's a statement of miserable stupidity.
Pink Floyd A Momentary Lapse Of Reason
Voto:
The review is well-written. One point deducted for being too focused on justifying its thesis. The album isn't bad, on the contrary. There are some bad things, I agree on Dogs of War and the two New Machine tracks, but there are also two decent instrumental pieces, Sorrow, which in my opinion is Gilmour's best piece since Comfortably Numb, On The Turning Away, which is undeniably a beautiful ballad, and I wouldn't underestimate Yet Another Movie and Learning To Fly, which are finely crafted tracks.
Stanley Kubrick [e Anthony Mann] Spartacus
Voto:
review not entirely shareable, but well done...the rating is a bit low...the film, in its genre, is still enjoyable. And that's something.
Vinicio Capossela Canzoni A Manovella
Voto:
masterpiece
Max Gazzè Ognuno Fa Quello Che Gli Pare?
Voto:
I raise the average, even if just a little... it's very, very hard to get into... it reveals its charm with repeated listens and grows as much as we want it to grow... Gazzè remains one of the best around... well-written review.
Max Gazzè Tra l'aratro e la radio
Voto:
I have to say that you have a nice way of writing, it's simple and direct...the album, alas, I haven't heard it yet...
Lucio Battisti Hegel
Voto:
It seems right to respond... thus, the album is not a masterpiece within Battisti's work; it is not essential because it is a terminal piece on which nothing roots itself. The 5 is therefore more of an emotional evaluation (it is certainly among the albums I have listened to the most in my life) and above all a judgment on originality: I don’t believe there are albums out there remotely comparable to this one. Panella does play with words, but except in sporadic cases, he does not resort to non-sense. Much of what he writes has a reason for being, whether it's just a feeling, a philosophical reasoning, or a crazy idea that shone in his head, but almost everything can be explained. Whether it is poetry, I don't know. It is certainly, however, an original form of writing for popular song.
