It doesn't seem to me that there is consistency between the rating and the content of the review... Anyway, one thing that the reviewer doesn't get wrong is Cremonini's talent, which is undeniable... compared to the many goats out there, he is a more than respectable author.

Oh God, it's hard to judge someone who gives five stars to an album like this, just as it's too easy to judge Pino Daniele's work from the last ten years. Let's say they're both off track. Pino Daniele perhaps, one day, as he ages, will understand that he needs to return to singing in the only language he knows how to handle: Neapolitan. The reviewer, from the way he writes, doesn't seem so naïve as to not realize in the future that this album, for a talent like Daniele, is rock bottom.

always the same story... and I’m not talking about the album... I mean the fact that a large part of the debaserians vote for albums without ever having listened to them... many are probably so young that they haven't experienced the years when this band was a symbol of hard rock music...

we are not in the presence of a masterpiece, but I believe this is a great album. I would say that Strawberry Swing and Violet Hill are among the best songs released this year. As for the sound, there is something that doesn’t quite add up, but I still consider it a step forward compared to the previous records.
