Depeche Mode The Singles 86>98
Voto:
Usually, I don't like "greatest hits" albums; they focus too much on chart-topping singles and pay little attention to the true gems. This is a classic exception, as it allowed me to pay attention to tracks I hadn't considered much before, such as "Policy of Truth." Anyway, I also really appreciate that 1981-85.

Small correction for violator 88: "I've got blisters on my fingers" was said by Ringo Starr, not Lennon.
Bruce Springsteen Darkness On The Edge Of Town

Beautiful review, maybe it's a bit exaggerated to say "the best rock album ever produced" (there are albums that deserve this phrase), but it's definitely a great record, with peaks of maximum excellence in "Streets of Fire" and "Prove It All Night."

Well, well, the last time I approached this review must have been in September, and the dispute was raging... now it's December and the dispute is still raging!
Franco Fanigliulo Io e me

It may sound strange, but the only person in the music scene who remembered him when he died was Zucchero. Truly a great character, absolutely eccentric and unconventional.
The Smiths Hatful Of Hollow

It's a collection of singles, b-sides, and BBC radio sessions, as the review suggests.

Anyone who listens to blues today cannot consider themselves a true lover of blues if they haven't heard this legend. Essential!

So, do you recommend I listen to the rock opera "Dracula"? I don't know, I've never really trusted these groups that take on rock operas; I'm not a fan of "Tommy" either... in short, I wouldn't want it to be (watch out, I haven't listened to it yet) a huge bore. What do you think?
B. B. King & Eric Clapton Riding With The King
Voto:
Clapton's solo work has always seemed too polished to me and not on par with what he played with Jack & Ginger; however, when he taps into the old blues, he remains a great artist.

Also read the interview of Fernanda Pivano with Nicola Piovani that is included in the CD booklet.
