This 2006 brings us a Punisher in great shape. At its best in tone and content. Well done. Nothing more to add.

What can I say, dear Zion. Perhaps it’s Christmas laziness. Or ignorance. A lack of willingness to take risks. New albums are being bought less and less. Different names evoke fear. etc etc. What’s certain is that DeBaser seems like a site with increasingly reassuring content. Progressive in spades, metal by the dozen, evergreen thrash, increasingly ancient Italian names, and still new ones, but the substance doesn’t change. In short, those who bet on the atypical can be counted on one hand. Besides us, there’s chaos in other ways, Mr. Nobody, who I hope will start writing again besides commenting, right? And then... I don’t know, you tell me since you've been around for a while: has it always been this way?

It's not a review, I agree. It's a trivial firecracker at the end of the year. Sad as a faulty firework. Regardless of the character in question.

Misery! I've tried searching on Ebay, Amazon, and everywhere else for the Advantage CD, but there's no trace of it. They sell the vinyl for 5 dollars, but this CD seems to have vanished. I guess I need to put my copy in a safe :-)

Beautiful but really beautiful review of a cult album par excellence. I've never understood if the guy tied up on the cover is actually Adi Newton. It's a bit sad to say, but Contempo Records also failed partly due to the global contract with Clock DVA. Perhaps it was too burdensome or maybe it was a case of incompetence, or the classic case of taking a step longer than one's leg.

Back then, I thought that love would tear us apart. Now, however, I’m convinced that love brings us together. Always. But from those days, I still prefer The Smiths and Prefab Sprout, and as for good Roddy, I only save the first one.

A side note on the first comment. J Mascis's dinosaur was roaming free at that time, although in non-Subpopped pastures, alongside the first Soundgarden, which were indeed Subpop manufactured.

Although I haven't frequented the SubPop territories since the days of Dinosaur Jr., due to allergy to too much guitar, one can gather from its shadowy writings that the helm of the aforementioned label hasn't changed course. Apocalyptic greetings that sound good at the end of the year.

Well, I immediately noticed the graphic design and then the mountains. The cover is a bit forced and has a whiff of kitsch, but the photos inside are very, very beautiful. And then there's the video of Elvis and Orson Welles to watch on his site.
Ben Watt North Marine Drive
Voto:
What a wonderful pair Ben Watt and Tracy Thorn make. And what personalities. They have traversed genres, bands, and collaborations while each maintaining their own compositional imprint. Although the best things, in my opinion, were offered at the beginning with Eden and, from the way you talk about it, with this North Marine Drive. A British "saudade" that sweetens our daily lives.
