The character (unfortunately or fortunately) is unknown to me. The recession is quite tough. From the way you describe it, their "music" seems to be brutally "contemporary" rather than "cosmic."

x Mr. Nobody: what drives me to write these notes on DeB before pleasure is need. An almost liberating necessity, like when you fall in love with someone or something and you seek the words to explain, to express first of all to yourself, honestly, what you find so important in an album, in a book, in a person. But now I renew the invitation to you (and also to Kosmo) to return to writing about "new loves." Or are you not falling in love anymore?

Thank you to everyone who paused their soul for a moment on these lines. The album has its own beautiful (non)sense even beyond the live performance, which is still impressive. These are "difficult" sounds only if the listener's approach is poorly motivated or prejudiced. The first time I listened to Alva Noto, I rejected it, staying on the surface, judging it too radical. After a year of waiting, I returned to it with Vrioon and then this Insen. And now I don't understand how I could have done without it. Maybe it's really a matter of the soul that needs, we don't know when or how, albums like this one. These phrases stay within you, and you already know they will never leave you.

Yes, I confirm "What Else Is There" is a creepy video. Lynchian to the core (speaking of lost highways...) with that magical Scandinavian mystery that smells of Andersen. Of incest between elves and humans.

Sorry, but if you were aware that there were already two more than exhaustive reviews, why another one that adds nothing to what already exists? Why not choose something else? Outside there is a world of music to review.
Aphex Twin ...I Care Because You Do

In its time, a great album. But are we sure that Aphex will be remembered for this? I might go against the tide, but I'd bet that his earlier works will be what sticks with future generations.

No discussion about Lynch. A genius. I would defend Arquette, a top-notch actress perhaps underrated. Magnificent even in a TV series like Medium.

Sir Sfascia, this is for you. Intrigued by your invitation to listen to the Mexican Radio in the rather metallic version by Celtic Frost, well, I "found" it and tried it out. Poor me! The abuse of guitars plus torpedo-like solos that whirl this cover has caused the return of the allergy I thought, after 15 years of absence, I was now immune to. And now I face another long stretch of abstinence.

Nice to see that the invitation to find other words has been accepted. And I love Jason's nuances. Anyway, the "nocturnal and cinematic" alludes to the mysterious and magical side that this album conveys. I agree with Anntiodeste on the invitation to explore the lyrics more deeply.

Less twisted writing than usual. It's clear that in this fragrant non-place of flowerbeds, one travels more smoothly than in daily life. A valuable tip for a label to support.
