Montefiori Cocktail Raccolta n.1

Very charming. I also saw them at a friend's wedding party. Plus, the dad is a guarantee. The so-called lounge genre in Italy and beyond pays tribute to great film score composers like Piero Umiliani, Piccioni, Trovaioli, etc.
Mylo Destroy Rock'n'roll
Voto:
Reading about how the good Mylo has made his way, he can't help but come across as likable. But the little I've heard doesn't excite me. Are you sure the comparison with Dj Shadow is fitting? As for Pressure Drop, they are a must-listen, but don't expect equal basslines and dancefloor grooves. One could say that the PD embody the spirit of the Bristol sound in a way that is less ambitious but equally effective as the Massive Attack.
AA.VV. Tropicalia - A Brazilian Revolution in Sound
Voto:
It appears to me as a splendid audio-object, this Tropicalia. Both thrilling and necessary is the tribute to these artists who reacted to power in various forms. During those years, Brazil produced a host of thinkers, intellectuals, and enlightened individuals like Paulo Freire, who was also exiled. But something of that incredible season has remained and spread to parts of the world, not just at a musical level.

If the Chinese eat boiled children, why should they censor CCCP-branded sites? ;-)

And if you wrote lagher with an h, what would they do to you?

But where did you go to school, Qzerty? Around here, the practice of good/bad was long abolished.

This Manichean view is simplistic, to say the least. It suits those with a stereotyped perspective who haven’t experienced it firsthand. If it were that easy... following your line of thought, the Depeche Mode weren’t exactly that good... and the Simple Minds? The Eurythmics had a great voice and an outstanding producer. I really don’t see much of Kraftwerk.

In those years, Ferretti was exactly what you could see. A wandering punk on the Via Emilia, he certainly didn't go unnoticed with his blue/orange hairstyles, combat boots, and wide-eyed stare. He seemed much more of a freak than the very "freaks" he dealt with at the time. People who had been forced out of the famous Psychiatric Hospital of Reggio.

Nice analysis, Mr. Moustache. I completely relate to it. Being a fellow citizen (and partisan), I’ve followed them since their first live shows in the neighborhood. They have meant a lot to many, especially during the most significant period that concludes with this passionate and credible sonic testimony.
Andrea Neumann 4 Questions
Voto:
The discussion is interesting. But what you say, Luca, with an absolving tone lacks foundations. So many certainties! Fontana and his cuts, Manzoni and his shits, Burri and his cretti are among the most effective artistic operations done in the 60s. In the world. Then when it comes to music, the discourse becomes even more subjective. I, for example, find the electronic sequences in Morse code style composed by Alva Noto much more exciting compared to Neumann's "noises," but that's a personal taste.
