Me too, a nice FIVE! Dedicated to the divine homeless man.
John Zorn Filmworks 13: Invitation to a Suicide

The package from the tzadik has arrived, including this SPLENDID sound artifact. Brilliant music, with a complex fascination yes but that sounds light and playful. To be listened to ad libitium. In light of these Filmworks (we are at number 18), it is reasonable to recognize Zorn as the best active composer.

Thank you for the comments. I hope that this album is found "somewhere." The fact that it was released by the worthy but small Belgian label Crammed limits its accessibility. In an ideal record store, the CD would be placed next to Men Machine by Kraftwerk.

@ Leonid I think it was in '90. Wrong tour (Alternative Tentacles). I clearly remember the chaos that followed the attack Oh No! Bruno.

Well, I was at Kantiere Island, a rat hole where sweat was one with the decibels. A massacre of bodies thrown around even at Level the following year.

In Italy, the fame gained from live performances on Italian soil enjoys a good following. Back then, it was a memorable pogo. Far from being social slaughter...

Imposing, almost wise.

Narrative review for an album to be approached with motivation. This shapeless moloch of sound machinery visually reminds me of Howl's Moving Castle, which I watched again the other night for the umpteenth time. Observed repeatedly in its multiple movement, the castle offers an idea of unmatched beauty.
Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan & Party Love Songs

Maximum respect for Nusrat. And the review is also devoted to a tradition that looks forward, like in the beautiful album with Brook.
