If I were a millionaire of Zorn, I would take everything (first and foremost the Filmworks series) and if I lived in NY, I would volunteer for Tzadik. They promise great things. Excellent Sfascia.
Pixies Doolittle

Wonderful album, re-evaluated over the years especially in Italy because at the time of the tour for this album there were truly only a few who enjoyed their bone-crushing live shows.
Psychick Warriors Ov Gaia Psychick Rythms, Volume 1

Excellent review for one of the fundamental (and overlooked) groups in the development of electronic music (on the techno-ambient-trance side). I would also recommend "Record of breaks," where the rhythms are infused with a tribal hypnotism. Highly recommended for lovers of electronic music "tout court," listening to PWOG is a unique experience. Seen live in the mid-90s, their progressive and ethereal loops created waves of collective ecstasy.
Jah Wobble I Could Have Been A Contender

A definitive collection that gives the right credit. Even the label is the "right" one. After that, I think good old Wobble can enjoy his well-deserved retirement.

Comprehensive and effective writing (as usual). I find Gira's comparison to the Iguana a bit out of context. Rather, it could be likened to another "character" like Jim Foetus, who collaborated, if I remember correctly, on this very record.
The Cult Dreamtime

In my opinion, it's their best album. Or at least the most spontaneous. The one where the sounds, lyrics, and vocals achieve a higher degree of originality compared to the later ones.
Steve Reich Drumming

Right among the favorites. Am I wrong or does it seem to me like a record that is hard to find? On the other hand, there’s a group of percussionists from Brooklyn, "So Percussion," who record for Cantaloupe and have interpreted his compositions, including Drumming.

This is perhaps the most successful of his atonal microcosms. ps: for those who are satisfied, his catalog is available on iTunes.

I agree with William's words. I add that a motivated approach is needed, which can come now or over time. And even if it were in ten years, the emotions conveyed by these compositions will remain unchanged. In this field, I believe the most interesting things are being published by Raster Noton. The productions of Alva Noto (Carsten Nicolai) are unforgettable sound crystals. This year, there was also a truly exquisite release called STABIL, created by the French KANGDING RAY.
