..impossible..maybe you didn't see the extras until the end: the chubby guy, realizing his uselessness on planet Earth even as a pathetic and embarrassing fan of the Slayer, commits suicide while listening to 10dischi10 of pure AOR poorly cut.. Once he becomes a corpse, he immediately catches the attention of the necrophiliac chick. They get together and, during a black mass celebrated in 4e4 8 in the presence of His Eminence Don King, they get married..

..mmm.. maybe you’re right, maybe I took it too personally. But I wrote my last post when you hadn’t yet clarified the "joking tone" of your discussions.. I hope this serves as a partial excuse for me! That said, I want to clarify that what really pissed me off wasn’t so much the anti-religious nonsense or similar stuff, but rather the fanatical-devoted-worshipful approach of the review. I’ve been listening to Slayer for almost twenty years, as I’ve said on other occasions, I basically started listening to music with them.. but if there’s one thing I can’t stand, it’s the prototypical Slayer fan, all about pentagrams and "chiesadimmerda - pretidimmerda satanaèilverosignore" etc etc etc.. a few years ago, I bought a DVD of Araya and the gang, which ended with a bunch of interviews with the most hardcore fans: well.. it was a festival of idiots! There was a chubby guy who had never seen a vagina in his life claiming to be a disciple of evil and similar nonsense.. a 16-year-old girl who declared she was ready to have sex with a corpse if one of the band members asked her to or something like that.. Damn! Slayer have made excellent music for over twenty years.. is it possible they have an audience of imbeciles?!? That said.. let’s be good to each other...

In my opinion, we should organize a nice "Punctuation Course for Aspiring Reviewers." Christ, is it really that hard to put commas in a decent way?!? The album is undoubtedly a 5. The review is undoubtedly a 2.

@ Fidia: I completely agree. More than anything, though, I'm becoming increasingly skeptical about the longevity of the latest Slayer albums. To be honest, I think I filed away "God hates etc etc" just a few weeks after buying it, and I fear this one will soon meet a similar fate! As for the rating... well... I don't feel like giving it a "1" (which should mean "unlistenable garbage") precisely because it's the "same old stuff"! Let me explain: I can't say it makes me want to puke!! I like the genre - I've pretty much listened to only that for years!! - it's heavy, fast, and obviously well-played... is it the same recycled stuff from ten years ago?? Well... I'd say that's evident to everyone, but it's still something with its own dignity.. and "1", in my opinion, should be reserved for aberrations! @recensore: you have no idea how angry you made me...
