..bought it yesterday..indeed, as psycho says, some acoustic overdubs are a bit intrusive, but it remains an incredible record!..and then there's this blues that comes out...really great! Thank you so much for the recommendation!

...I listened to the previous one and it seemed like a "kids' album": a lot of proclaimed meanness, but zero substance. After a couple of songs, boredom and tedium set in. I watched one of their videos and since then I've been waiting to meet the singer to make up for the father's mistakes and give him all the spankings in the face he didn’t receive as a child (that is, six or seven months ago). And now I discover that Kerrang named it the best album of 2005?!.. I guess I'm a bit out of the loop with recent releases!!.. I won't rate the review because I'm biased against the band and wouldn't be objective, but, if as I understand it, it was written before the album's release, the rating wouldn't have gone beyond passing anyway. Let's recap. You are cool, smart, and cultured. However, in those 3-4 reviews you've written, you couldn't help but abuse words like "Merda," "Cazzo," and the verbs "Fottere" and "Fottersi," conjugated in more or less every tense and mood of the Italian language (a language, I hope you’ll agree, far from cultured... unless they were quotes from the Heautontimoroumenos that I missed). You know a ton about music and life... but apart from this review (which, by your own admission, is a result of provocation), you've limited yourself to slathering filth over albums/bands you claim to detest, yet which you boast of having a perfect knowledge of (musical masochism?!.. who knows!..). You define other users as "caproni," "merdacce," "ignoranti"… but the moment someone provokes you, you immediately accept the challenge and churn out a review in record time that, forgive me for the insinuation, reeks of copy-pasting that would make a wart disgusted. You know, maybe you’re right: this is a site for ignorant, stupid, and idiotic people… well.. you are welcome.

Commenting late in relation to the publication (am I the only one who lately can't keep up with all the reviews being published?!?): I confirm what has been said by the previous commenters. Even though the more "modern" things (that’s putting it mildly..) have never driven me crazy, this is truly a nice album... but the production is just too "heavy" and Verni's bass is way too prominent! Really beautiful review. Bye!
