I found it less showy than that of Fear Factory. It’s well-written and there are some interesting insights. The "cinematic" attack is a bit cloying, but in some ways fascinating. Too bad about some questionable statements in my opinion ("the game of synesthetic assonances"…) and for the rating that I don’t really agree with: I find it an album that is, in some respects, bold, but - with the exception of two or three songs - I think I’ve always listened to it with difficulty.

And again: as I already pointed out in my review of RHCP, if until today you've considered me a great person, it's probably because I've refrained from excessively bothering you. But then you come along, say stupid things, and even expect to sell them as pearls of popular wisdom, making off-the-mark comments and posing as an expert on genres and bands you don't know at all. I must confess, your attitude in the RHCP review struck me very negatively... acting like a know-it-all and boasting only to say that Hanneman is the bassist of Slayer shows a mix of arrogance and ignorance that I find unacceptable, especially when it involves a genre - thrash - and a band - Slayer - that I have passionately followed for YEARS. On that occasion, I discovered that you've displayed the same attitude in claiming that Hush is by Pink Floyd and that, in your opinion, Flea is a shitty bassist. This was repeated here when you dared to criticize the rating given to the review by Cooloras (to whom I apologize for bringing them into this without justification; it's solely my fault, and at this point, I regret it quite a bit. For what it's worth, I extend my apologies). But how?!?! ... and your De Gustibus in rating reviews?!? what happened to it?!? Didn't you bother him?!? Okay, I misspoke. But you had something to say about his rating. And for what reason?! Because in your opinion the review is "written really well"! .. well.. if you're going to be a pain in the ass (..oops.. I slipped again..) at least try not to spew nonsense while doing it.

Bisius, has the Fiesta liqueur gone to your head?! Once the hangover passes, reread your comment: I hope you realize that it's bordering on nonsense. If I started bothering you on this page, it's not because you gave what I consider an excessively high rating to this review, but because you supported it with a series of absurd considerations (like those I've already mentioned, and that I suggest you reread), which highlight that either you don't understand a thing about Italian or you just simply don't understand anything. Secondly, the rating you gave is objectively high: 4 out of 5 (and for two times no less) is not just positive, it's very positive! If I understand correctly, you claim your right to vote as you please. There’s nothing more true than that... but if the reasons you give in support of your vote are ridiculous and raise the suspicion that you only skimmed the review, well… inevitable, understandable, and legitimate are the criticisms that can be directed at you! I also find your reliance on the beloved de gustibus at least ridiculous: you called a review full of repetitions, typos, errors, and inaccuracies "written very well"! Here, it's not about someone's tastes (yours), but about the very survival of the Italian language (which, evidently, you're not a fan of...). Another thing: as you evidently didn't notice, I abstained from voting on the review. According to my voting standards, I should have given a rather low score and I didn't want to: I thought many would have attacked it since it was the sixth review for this album and I didn’t want to worsen the situation. So, when you talk about "challenging my vote on the review," you're talking about hiccups and farts. One more thing: I'm not a veteran of this site, actually.

...wow, that's impressive... congratulations!!! Sorry for the delay in commenting (due to the last remnants of what you already know...). Really well done... you're almost giving me the courage to try my hand at some reviews outside of metal too!!! Bye

@Lethe: I confirm! I also knew that Death SS was originally meant to be in death of etc etc.. as I was told, the need to change the band's name was precisely due to the risk of "misunderstandings" that the double S could have caused among the "uninitiated" (I'm going from memory, and I apologize for any mistakes: back then I had a super cool Live -Live Evil?!?- which came out with the wording Steve Sylvester on the cover..)

..but am I wrong or is the Live Undead review missing?!? @Fidia: I heard (metallic adolescent legends) that the title Sylvester's Death became necessary due to certain distribution difficulties for the band's records in some Central European countries (essentially Germany..), where it is/was forbidden to disseminate any commercial product that boasts the double S.. is that nonsense?!?

You are the one who gave the highest score (along with Paloz). And you’re the only one who has made unreasonable praises to the review, such as those I mentioned. And you're the only one who bothered Cooloras about the score they gave to the review. You don’t give a damn about anything; you just spout nonsense.
