Dear thetrooper, it's useless for you to get angry and act like a bitter queen. If instead of sending 4 reviews a day over the last three or four weeks, you had taken a moment to engage with other users and, above all, had tried to LISTEN to something else beyond the 4-5 bands you’ve been harping on (Iron, Metallica, and Korn above all…), maybe you wouldn’t have ended up in this meltdown. As I’ve already pointed out, in your profile you boast a "decent musical culture"... well, if you hadn’t noticed, there are people on this site whose musical knowledge makes yours look like a fart in the desert. Dried feces. Dog vomit. Go check out the reviews of Ocram or Francescobus, Thegreenmanalishi or Tepes (just to stay within the rock-metal realm)… there’s so much to learn from people like them, I say this from experience, even in terms of how to behave without annoying or alienating other users. Your last post was way too cryptic for my taste... I just ask you to avoid shooting nonsense about Slayer (normally I would also include Pestilence, but I don’t think you’ve ever even heard their name...), since they have been my favorite band for years and I’d be very disappointed to hear foolishness about them. Best regards.

Oh my gosh, have we really made you angry, huh?!?.. But seriously, are you ever going to stop sending reviews?!?!.. I think a good part of the site can't wait for that!!:DDDDD!!! Hi, and don't take it too hard.. remember the saying: "he who is the cause of his own misfortune..". :)!! P.S.: Did you download "Master Control"?! Hi!!

Very good review. I don't know practically anything about Garage... any tips to "taste" the genre?!? Bye!

..in fact, on this site there is a somewhat strange conception of metal that, more often than not, doesn't go beyond the usual Maiden, Metallica, and their friends. If someone tries to review something a bit more niche (but not even that much..), they find themselves with 3, at most 4 comments..(the proof is your review of Anvil, for whose extremely critical comment I apologize once again..). Take care! Bye!!

No no.. look, to be honest, a few months ago I had an incredible argument with another user about the whole speed issue (compared to thrash). I was going through a rough time and I was really fired up: I ended up treating him poorly and being quite the show-off.. Since then, I find that the less I get tangled up in these "labeling" discussions, the better!!:DD!! I noticed you’ve toned it down.. well.. I recognize that I’m dealing with a gentleman: I’ll remember that. P.S.: I want to bury the hatchet, but I was thinking: two bands with somewhat Maiden-esque sounds are Brocas Helm and, to a lesser extent, Omen.. both from the U.S. epic scene.. what do we do?!?!?!:DDDDD!!!! PPS: ..well.. some consider Venom to be NWOBHM!!!!:DDDDD!!!.. bye.. and Merry Christmas!!!

...ahhh!!..but you’re the one from the Anvil review who went to Mariposa with 5,000 in your pocket!! That’s where I’ve read you before!!..that’s why you’re so pissed off: come on, sorry, I was a bit of a jerk, but I just didn’t like it at all!..and speaking of jerks: I wanted to point out how your note "if you're a jerk, does that mean everyone living on your street has to be one by geographical proximity?" (barroom syllogistic rhetoric..) didn’t really respond at all to my point about the widespread heterogeneity of proposals in the scene and, in fact, could be used as an argument to the contrary. Use this vacation to study and good grades will come.:)!! Bye!

First of all, tone it down: you’re here to learn and not to be angry with the world. That said, the groups I mentioned weren't "found on Google"; I reviewed many of them on this very site months ago (which should mean that I at least know their music a bit). The NWOBHM is a very complicated scene to know in depth: many bands released 1, at most 2 albums, with terrible production and distribution. In short, if you want to be informed and understand it thoroughly, you either have to be born in England during those years (which is not my case) or you must resort to the Internet or specialized magazines. Ten years ago, when I was a "metalhead" and you were still playing with your toys, it was a mess because basically there was only word of mouth. The site I pointed you to, which you obviously haven’t visited - I repeat - is an excellent database, and I don't see anything wrong with consulting it to delve deeper into the subject. From the fact that you define Angelwitch as "protoblack," I deduce that you don’t have a clear understanding of how things went: so, I repeat, Saxon are NWOBHM and Angel Witch are not?! Maybe you know the bands and the albums, but you haven’t made the necessary connections to understand how they influenced each other. In my time, you would have been held back until September; now I think they call it "educational debt." Bye.

..and for further accuracy, those you refer to as "dark characters emerging from the sea and crashing onto a beach" are not random transfers placed haphazardly, but each one calls back a song from the album.
