I don’t want to be the snooty one, looking down my nose at things... but this movie is pretty terrible! Overrated: beautifully shot, for sure, but disjointed in half, long, way too long, and (as far as I'm concerned) it leaves the viewer completely indifferent: the story doesn’t engage, the pacing is always and anyway too stretched, some action scenes last way too long... in short, personally, I was really bored!

I really liked this movie!.. I had just come from a series of boring screenings, and this one pleasantly passed a couple of hours for me!.. maybe it’s the intriguing theme, maybe it caught me in a good mood, but it was a second show (starting at 10:45 PM) on a Wednesday, and I didn’t fall asleep! Of course, there are other masterpieces, but I give this one a thumbs up!

Fichis the Holocaust!..they were as good as my barber, but The Nightcomers (from which Death Or Glory is taken..) is a nice album. It also features one of the few true hits of the NWOBHM: Heavy Metal Mania!..I've got Heavy Metal Music in my blood!..you pa ..you pa ..you pa.. Fede: between the two stylistic changes Better Off Dead and Tapping The Vain, which one do you prefer?!? Bye!

I subscribe to Zion: I also think it has little or nothing of the "unrealistic." In fact, at many points it almost feels like a documentary on the physical and spiritual corruption of the lieutenant. So much so that real time and film time often coincide during the various episodes of "degeneration." For example: the already mentioned scene of masturbation or in the (endless) scene of the heroin hit.

Legends say that Heaven's Gate was the film that caused United Artists to fail! You know, while filming, Cimino demanded that everyone, even the last extra, wore only period costumes! :DDD! I tried to watch it some time ago... but I don't think I made it to the end (it's a bit long, huh??).. I promise I’ll make it up soon!!

..mmm.. have I ever told you that "Consuming Impulse" was the most important extreme metal album of my life?!?:DDD!! said like that it sounds like some adolescent nonsense (and in fact it is..:DDD!), but really: I have more memories and emotions tied to that album than to photos, letters, or whatever other stuff I've been carrying with me since I was a kid!

Amores Perros is very nice (the second episode drove me crazy... I hate fractures...). Babel is beautiful, but not a masterpiece as many claim. This, I don't know: I'd say it's acceptable, but I keep wondering what it would have been like if the editor (the same Inarritu?!... I don’t remember..) hadn't taken a basket of peyote..
