Emily - the fairy - Watson is really good. All in all (overlooking some inevitable moments of boredom and others of seasickness from the camera with a force of seven), I really enjoyed it. Let's say I prefer other works by Von Trier. I don't know if it's already come up (I haven't read all the comments yet): but how many have seen it because it's mentioned as a boredom-killer in "Do You Know Claudia?" by Aldo, Giovanni & Giacomo?! I remember a friend of mine who had an incredible obsession with Koll: pure late adolescent idealization.. For his 19th birthday, we gifted him this movie (personally, I had never seen it). We only rewatched it a few days later, visibly drained in spirit and body, but endowed with a vigorous and muscular right forearm.. The question is: if this movie aimed to be pure "materiale da zagarella," I think it deserves a solid 5. Otherwise..

I continue to believe that films should be evaluated for what they aim to be and that’s it. Absolutizing comparisons seems pointless to me: what sense does it make to weigh Citizen Kane against Allenatore Nel Pallone?!? I think this is an excellent movie for kids, well-produced, where great action scenes alternate nicely with more measured ones. If some adult (or presumed adult, like myself) doesn’t mind taking a look if the opportunity arises, I don’t see what’s wrong with that... oh well! Hi everyone!

Some scenes I really liked (okay, I admit my banality: I’m mostly referring to the hammer hits in the hallway, shot using just the dolly..).. but it's the whole that doesn't make me say "masterpiece." But just me, when in the end I discovered the reason why this guy's life was ruined, I thought: "all that noise for nothing?!".. wasn’t it enough to take him and stick some pins in his eyes and cut his ankles with wire?!.. did we really have to wait 15 years, kidnap his daughter, make him eat ravioli and blah blah blah?!?.. oh well!
