THE REVIEW

As promised, I couldn't refrain from reviewing another masterpiece by the national SANDALONE. In this volume 1 Peppino chooses as his muse some of the most beautiful classics by Queen:

1) The Show Must Go On
2) Bohemian Rhapsody
3) We Are The Champions
4) Who Wants To Live Forever
5) The Miracle
6) Radio Ga Ga
7) I Want to Break Free
8) A Kind of Magic

...and as usual, he manages to RUIN them, hitting 90.95% of the wrong notes as only he can! Of course, as previously described, Sandalone offers these "vocal gems" for free on his website to anyone with a stomach strong enough to withstand the first 30-35 seconds of recording. If you have a certificate of good physical health attesting to your physical well-being, do a search online regarding Joe... you will surely find one of the sites that Peppone self-produced to self-promote himself; click on it and you'll be rolling on the floor with laughter!
Proud, disdainful, and bold, our Sandalone doesn't choose just any artist to interpret, he chooses one of the greatest rock-pop voices of all time, Frederick Bulsara (aka Freddie Mercury), trying to mimic him. Yes... indeed it's mimicry, because the sound that comes out of Peppone's oven is everything but music, and if that wasn't enough, he pairs it with English pronunciation that rivals that of an interpreter with many years of experience. Below, I amused myself by writing a few lines of the text revisited by Joe:

Bohemian Rhapsody - Sandalo's version

(intro chorus) Engraved:
Ai'm just a puuuR boi..
Ai nee no simpAtii..
ENNIuuei de uiiin BLOss...
Dasen rilli... (stops singing)
.........TUUUUuuu Miiiiii!!!

And after this Italian interpretation of macaronic English, I leave the judgment to you.
See you soon for new reviews on the fabulous performances of... Joe Sandalo!
