Steven Spielberg Incontri Ravvicinati Del Terzo Tipo

Once, in a review I can no longer remember, I tried to point out that Bluto! wasn't familiar with the Italian language... and some people took his side... I hope it's agreed that this is indefensible! I’m intervening super late on the Alien issue to say that, in my opinion, the third Alien movie is beautiful… sick and claustrophobic, suffocating… in stark contrast to the (by the way excellent) second episode and its action movie style (the fact that you have to defend yourself from the alien with just flashlights and little else is quite a challenge!!!). Its biggest problem was having to measure up to the two massive films that came before it! Hi everyone!

@manliuzzo: hi!!..actually, reading the latest comments, I seem like one of those Japanese employees with a goofy smile who keeps apologizing to the boss with a bow!!:DDD!..let's hope this isn't the prelude to some kind of action-reaction with a barrage of f*** yous aimed at the crowd!!:DD! Hi and thanks!

..but there is one thing to say in favor of our favorite centralizer:.. if there were a band among the five thousand he has reviewed that anyone has ever even heard of.. I believe he receives demo versions.. I can't believe he spends all that money on records (also because most of the time his reviews are harsh critiques..).. oh hi fenni!

..you're right! Sorry, dad! :D! I remember you: once in one of my reviews (if I’m not mistaken, of Hana-Bi) you wrote something like: "very beautiful.. but I prefer mom I've lost the airplane".. I swear you made me laugh so hard. And anyway, no.. I confess I tried in vain to find the book from which the film is taken. So I don’t know what the original title refers to! I await enlightenment and lots of nice gifts! Bye!

..thanks again to everyone who commented! @kosmo: I think History is a really nice film. Apparently, it strays quite far from what Cronny has gotten us used to: as bjork says, probably if the opening credits didn't say "directed by Cronny," few would have guessed its authorship. Let's say it stands alongside (but in my opinion just a bit below) other films where the director has distanced himself from his typical "slimy" style (like M. Butterfly), while still revisiting some of his most typical themes. The biggest issue for me was the expectations, the kind of film I expected to see… which of course were disappointed. Only to reassess it much later "with a cool head." For reasons of space, I didn't talk about two aspects in my review that I consider juicy: 1) the purely aesthetic aspect: not just the furnishings in the apartments, but also and especially the clothes of the two twins… each with their own style that highlights their character differences (very cool suit for Elliot, "reassuring" turtleneck for Bev)… really small touches of class! 2) Personally, I have always found the scene with the tourniquets and surgical clamps chilling... I think it's extremely disturbing.

Hello everyone and thank you so much!!.. @deneil-cptgaio: indeed, I was also very unsure.. on one hand, I thought it was necessary to include some references to what happens in the final scenes, but on the other hand, I didn't want to spoil the surprise for anyone. It seems I've taken a middle path, revealing just the essentials, in a "vague" way, at least for those like Deneil who haven't seen the movie.. :DDD!! @bjork: as soon as I have some time, I should be able to post more okulistic reviews.. I hope you'll like them!! Thank you very much!

@there: it's true... and if, by chance, the album being reviewed is, as in this case, the black album, the first thing that is said immediately after is that the album itself has no name, but given the all-black cover, it has taken the name of Black Album...
