.."the most incredible experience of my life" I’ve always imagined involving a pair of Northern European twins calling me "Italian Love".. Then again, this is an amazing record, it’s true what Senmayan says: these guys are still at the cutting edge even today!

..I just remembered the episode set in Tokyo, where Homer insists on breaking through the paper doors instead of opening them. At one point, he and Bart end up in prison (if I’m not mistaken, for killing a dragon!!) and they're shown wearing kimonos while painting a typical Japanese landscape.. That scene makes me chuckle every time I see it!!

uxo: ..no, it doesn't say "Homer," it says "Dad"! It's a rather old episode, where the family finds itself looking at a photo album of Bart and Lisa as kids, reminiscing about their childhood years. In the end, Homer takes Maggie to bed, telling her something like: "You know, Maggie, kids learn to speak first and answer back sooner... I hope you never say a word..". Then he closes the bedroom door, and Maggie takes out her pacifier and says exactly "Dad"..

..mmm..I understand.. but first at least reveal to me who you're faking! I can't believe you were new in here: you already knew everyone’s vices and virtues! And, above all, next time try to register using the nickname of a truly immortal character, like LeonardoDaVinci, Giotto, Andreotti..

As Deneil, I haven't seen the movie yet, but I strongly doubt it will be a 5. In fact, I’m certain: the expectations are so high in this case that it’s practically impossible not to be disappointed. I promote the review, though. Good old Poletti is clear from the first line: not a review. It's long, but all in all, it flows well. It sheds light on a sentimental side of one of the meanest users on the site, which is commendable. I also adore the Simpsons, and this seems to be a review that pays them a nice tribute (by the way: Marco, do you have a favorite episode?!? Don’t tell me it’s also the one with Mister Spazzaneve! Mine is the one with the Pomacco!). I won't give you a 5 because I would have preferred something more original: like a review written as if it were a monologue by Homer!! :DDD!!

Really great movie. Excellent analysis, shame it reveals a bit too much of the plot: I remember that before watching this film, I read a comment by Muller in the big book "Cinema of the '70s" that robbed me of all surprises and made me quite angry!;-)! The banjo-guitar duel sequence is a small masterpiece in itself!

Here it is!! :) .. can I say something?! .. to me, these compilations from a purely musical point of view have never meant a damn thing. They’re super cool for the historical-"philological" aspect.. but then I end up never listening to them: excluding the two or three songs from the big names in the scene, the rest is fairly dispensable. The NWOBHM is full of equally unknown gems that are way more valid! In the review, you reiterate several times the strong opposition between New Wave and punk.. in my opinion, that assertion isn’t very well-founded, but it’s been a very tiring week and I don’t feel much like writing.. bye!
