Well.. first of all, I want to say how thrilled I am to find some of my favorite users here, always too generous towards me: I already know this review will be slaughtered.. when the average stabilizes at 1.5-2, and I’ll be called an idiot in every way possible, I’ll come back to read your comments and I will indulge in them!:DDDD!! If you're looking for a "technical" opinion that is definitely more authoritative on this album, I suggest waiting for the scathing comments from my music gurus: Antmo, Caz, Festwca, and Psychopompe. Here you will find only my impressions, my feelings.. I had written a "normal" review for this album, then Wednesday night I deleted everything and wrote this stuff: I felt like doing a "meteorological" review (..damn, Federico this is telepathy!! by the way: here I put the "brain storm"..:DDD!) that would spark curiosity.. Then, I tell you, I liked them right away, listening to Dragon Etc etc Part TWO on their MySpace.. More than that!!:DDD

"Drawing Restraint"?..never heard of it!..now I'm curious!..what is it??..what is it?!?:DDD! If I can finish a couple of jobs early, today I'll watch "Millennium Actress" by Kon, which I know absolutely nothing about, but has been pointed out to me as a gem. Personally, I found his "Perfect Blue" interesting, but I know many didn't like it.. I guess my tastes are a bit the "tastes of the layman"!!:DD!

Hi Frank!..to be honest, I would have written: "the only thing YOU CAN join WITH..".. Note: 1) JOIN - WITH and not join - where. 2) Those in Calcutta are SEWERS, not undergrounds. 3) Although I'm certainly not an expert, I find that the subjunctive, in this case, sounds a bit cacophonic.. Cacophonic like this: PPPPRRRRRROOOOTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!

@Vincent: oops.. sorry but I completely missed your post!! I'm responding to both you and Purpu: honestly, I wasn't particularly impressed. I should mention that I watched it in Italian, and the dialogues were quite disappointing for me: hearing characters speaking "modernly" throughout the film and then suddenly throwing out expressions that, at least I think, are supposed to sound epic-medieval (e.g., "arrrgh!! he tricked us!") left me a bit perplexed. The screenplay is somewhat uneven at times, and it feels like the story needs a little "push" to move forward (e.g., the captain of the guards "remembers" where the protagonist is hiding, RIGHT while Terru is listening from the window..). Some things feel a bit "thrown in" (@purpu: like the drug-berry storyline, for instance..). Other than that, as Purpu said, it’s a decent debut and there are some good ideas. Speaking in Debaserian terms, it would be about 3 stars. Bye and sorry again for the "delay"! P.S.: as usual, immense thanks to Francescobus!

..of course, until we are able to point out something to another user without starting with "Tizio, you're an idiot", there's not much to complain about the editors, the site's layout, duplicates, etc. From what I've heard about the group, I couldn't care less, but the review seems well written to me. Regarding gothic (a genre I've stopped engaging with years ago), I agree with Fidia. Best regards.

Not without a certain embarrassment, I thank everyone for the beautiful comments (@Don: exaggerated!! :DD!!). @Purpulan: sorry for only replying now.. I really enjoyed Requiem: technically it's very "modern," but it avoids (at least partly) the "videoclip" style. Of course, Pi Greco, with its saturated and grainy black and white, was also a little gem..
