..how strange.. at this moment there’s a discussion very similar to the one brought up by Psycroptic in a review on the home page!:D! I haven’t read the review yet (I’ll do it later), but I would like to make a couple of points to good old Psycroptic: if you had read the entire introductory sentence, you would have noticed that the excellent Battlegods specified: "LIKE IN AMERICA OR EUROPE". Now, I completely agree with you regarding the importance and quality of some Canadian bands, but I’d say it’s clear that when compared to the European and American markets, Canada is in the third world position, right?!

BathoryAria was quite the crafty one!! :DDD! He received a lot of praise and some high ratings before being uncovered! :D! Just about ten days ago, I caught him in yet another unauthorized lift (not officially recognized by the editors) from an album – if I'm not mistaken – by Dark Angel! It's a shame he hasn't been around for quite a while.. really a big loss for the site!! :DD!

For all those who want to delve deeper into the NWOBHM discussion, I recommend the NWOBHM encyclopedia (basically, just type NWOBHM into Google and it's the first site on the list): aside from the fact that about 60 percent of the bands listed I've never even heard of, there's a ton of stuff for NW maniacs.. concert posters, interviews from that era, scans of fanzines.. have fun!
