Manowar Warriors Of The World

...thanks to Odin you'll soon finish the discography!! If for you the "masterpieces" of Manowar are Courage and Carry On, there's no hope. Sword in the Wind is a power ballad of shocking banality: how can you say it's one of their best songs!..my goodness.. sell the Manowar records, or better yet, give them away, dive into Dragonforce. And, for pity's sake, don't send more than one review at a time.

Great review and truly a "noble" mission! :D! But try to avoid the track by track! Bye!

Bathory, you’re back! Did you see the mess that happened with the truemetal reviews?!?

What a drag!! You're clogging up the homepage with duplicates of overhyped albums! At least have the decency to wait a few days between one review and another! By the way, this album is terrible... not just bad, it's really dreadful! The worst production since Hail to England (and you don’t say it), with the ugliest cover since Into Glory Ride (and you don’t say it), with the worst performance from Adams since... never (and you don’t say it)!! You give this a 3 and Triumph of Steel a 2?!?! I already told you: you and Manowar are not on the same wavelength, better switch to power. Bye

Holy Christ... out of six reviews you sent five duplicates... Besides writing, try also reading the reviews on the site, maybe broaden your musical horizons. Sorry for the acidity of this comment, but I've just come back from a NINE-HOUR conference that would tire out a bull and I'm exhausted. Bye.

Well.. I would say that being repetitive can be attributed to the characteristics of the genre as understood by Quorthon himself. Then again, in my opinion, we must acknowledge good old Ace for a lot of merits: he was among the founding fathers of two musical genres, and, in any case, the bands that cite him as inspiration are countless. As for the quality of the productions, he can think whatever he wants, of course! By the way: am I the only one who goes crazy for "Boy" on "Album"?!? When I watch the tribute video on YouTube, I cry even more than when I listen to Song To All Up High.. Basically, when I listen to Quorthon, I always cry.. to be honest, even now I have teary eyes..

Uff.. I'm so late! I downloaded this album in a rush after reading a lot about it on a blog. Honestly, I was a bit disappointed too.. maybe because I was expecting something extraordinary..

Like the captain: a masterpiece in its own right. Quorthon, in his way, was a cool guy: among the worst musicians and singers in the entire metal scene, yet with two riffs and three chords he managed to create truly evocative songs. When in "Song To etc" he starts singing "Northern wind take me home etc etc etc," I always cry like a sacrificial calf tied to the tree of Frigg..
