I completely agree with you 90%! :D! Great record, no doubt about it, but it lacks that magic, that desperate suffering that characterized the two previous masterpieces. The sounds are more conventional compared to that fucking "superfuzz-superacid" effect used by Fogle, and the genre seems to settle into more ordinary coordinates. Personally, I’ve never considered it "the most Epic, most engaged, most loaded with pathos of their discography"... in my opinion, that remains King Of The Dead! Anyway, great debut, here’s a 5 as a welcome gift!

So boring... Like all the others you sent, after all. I try every time: I start reading them, hoping to find even a single interesting idea, a successful passage, a "something" at all... and every time I end up stuck in the seminal fluid of your review-style masturbation. Thank the Judge: at least now there’s something interesting to read on this page.

Hi purpu!! Thank you so much for dropping by! To be honest, each B has its reason. Bombai because the interludes are Indian-inspired. Babilonia because I'm reading a biography of Alexander the Great and I've reached the point where he enters Babylon and the Hanging Gardens are described (or 'prensili,' as you wish) and it feels very ethnic and ancestral to me, if you know what I mean. I got Bellatrix and Betelgeuse from a song by the Sadist (From Bellatrix To Betelgeuse, indeed) that I believe I listened to a few thousand times a couple of lives ago, during my first unrequited love. In short: I wanted to make a nice big risotto of Space and the East and I got carried away! :DD!

I, on the other hand, have been listening to them a lot for the past 2-3 weeks!! :DD! It must be the effect of the big lapis lazuli-style eyes of the girl... really strong stuff! I agree about the catalog of big noses: wherever you can simultaneously find Los Sounds Des Kraut, the two Toba Trance, and Void Vibration, it MUST be a GREAT place! I take this opportunity to point out, for those who might not be aware, this link: TuttoScemo P.S.: Ganesha is amazing!

I, on the other hand, still quite like Witchcraft. Maybe the first one is starting to show some signs of wear, but I still find the next two quite enjoyable today. Recently, however, the revival album that really blows me away is the debut of Jex Thoth. It's really something beautiful: it feels like listening to Jefferson Airplane doing esoteric acid doom! :DD!

Oh my goodness, so many people!! :DD! It seems like fate that every time I have a review in HP I can't respond properly... I apologize to everyone. Lately, between work, courses (damn mandatory training!:D!), and everything else, I have very little time: there are so many bands I'm discovering during this period that I'd love to talk about!:D! I connect back to what Psycho said: lately, Sweden has been giving me a lot of satisfaction.. there’s a fantastic scene of rock revival where you can find a bit of everything: from doom to folk to hard rock in general. And to think that, as far as I'm concerned, it all started with Witchcraft!:D! In these weeks, I've listened to the latest from Siena Root and, sadly, I have to say it didn’t impress me at all. The change of singer hasn't helped, and it seems they’ve lost a bit of "freshness" in their songwriting. Well... I've got to run, back to being the little scribe. Thanks again to everyone!
