Hey Doc, is it just my impression or are all your reviews a bit the same???:)! Great choice anyway: really beautiful album!!!

Good analysis, but - reading your other reviews as well - I've noticed that in some sections you lose a bit of clarity in your exposition. A genre I set aside some time ago, but the comparison to my favorite album by my all-time favorite band makes me want to listen to it. I will take care of it.
Ken Russell I Diavoli

Unfortunately, due to a lack of time, I wasn't able to say this earlier: in my opinion, it is wrong to limit Russell's indictment solely to the Church. Russell is too Catholic to throw everything into the pot and condemn the Church outright. The "devils" referred to in the title of the film are not just the exorcist (and Ozzy fan...) Father Barrè, nor the Cardinal Richelieu for that matter. The real devil is power, or rather the thirst for power, regardless of whether it lurks within "temporal" institutions (the baron or Louis XIII, the seemingly mad king, who in the exorcism scene is the only one mocking the collective delirium) or "ecclesiastical" ones (the cardinal). And the Church is not always a devil; it only becomes one when it serves the interests of power, or rather when it distorts its own nature to become an instrument that satisfies the thirst for power. Personal opinion, of course!!:)

However, in my opinion, the true language of love is Spanish. Can you compare to a beautiful Madrilean whispering in your ear: "Quiero chupar tuo mandolino, mio matador italiano!"???

I just stepped out a few minutes ago from a work period more intense than a romp with a pair of Swedish twins shouting "Italian Paparino, please warm me up with your big spicy pepper!!" I apologize to everyone for reviving a discussion that was thought to be settled, but now I've got some free time! ;) So, @mien_mo_man: In my opinion, the entire second part of your post has nothing to do with my discourse. So I’ll skip that. As for the first part, I say: 1) No one, least of all myself, has ever intended to question the right (uncontested and undeniable) of anyone to criticize an artist or a work. I don’t understand how your "apology for criticism" relates to my discourse. 2) When you talk about the "specific weight" of one artist compared to another, you merely confirm my thesis. This review about the Somahara (useless as it simply criticizes with more than predictable arguments an artist you would define as having "infinitesimal specific weight") does nothing but give further visibility (for better or worse) to someone who doesn't deserve it, to the detriment of those who (for better or worse) do deserve it. Furthermore, it is destined to attract people who appreciate crap. Moral of the story: if interesting reviews are pushed down the homepage by other equally interesting reviews, that’s fine. But if interesting reviews are pushed down by reviews that don’t enrich the site, that’s bad. What Renato Zero (an artist you find uninteresting) has represented for your reviews (which, it seems, you find interesting), this piece represents for other reviews currently on the homepage. That’s all. Bye bye!

Very good indeed! Now all that's left for you is to learn how to behave with a minimum of civility towards other users, and then I would say we're all set...

Among other things, I’m surprised that certain arguments come from you, especially since you’ve always complained bitterly about the "toilet flush" effect, about how reviews stay on the homepage for too little time. Of course, the little space available is taken up by certain things... It's like complaining about having a house that is too small, only to dedicate an entire room to a collection of photos of your mother-in-law.

What a breaking point! What a moment to re-discuss everything! Pages like this only give more visibility to those who don’t deserve it, to the detriment of those who actually do (understood both as reviews in the home page and as artists being reviewed). The things I said, I didn’t just make them up during my morning cigarette-shit combo. They are the chronicle of what has always happened on Debaser: go see the comments and contributions from users like Kiaravril (or something like that) or basketcasegirl, and then we’ll talk. Attracted by reviews of their beloved artists, they’ve filled these pages with horrifying pre-adolescent delusions. Until this afternoon, there was a nice review of Fabemolle on the home page. Now, in its place, there are the Sonhora. Really not bad as a breaking point...

And as a confirmation of what I stated in the review of Marco Carta, if today (just two weeks since the publication of the aforementioned review) you type "Marco Carta rincontrerò" into Google, Debaser already appears on the first page of the results... I can already hear the buzz of flies ready for a nice feast of chocolate...
