I listened to the previous one a little and it seemed more effective to me. I like this one halfway/three-quarters and, for the rest, it bores me. I have a strange feeling when I listen to this album: that they "believe in it a little too much", you know, like they’re being a bit pretentious, that it’s all just a pose. I repeat, it’s just a feeling, nothing more: it’s not a bad album, for heaven's sake, but the real desert is elsewhere.

The full length that collects the three volumes is beautiful. Maybe just a tiny bit below Burning Off, but still great for its ability to expand and embrace so many sounds, souls, and sensations.

Beautiful, stunning review. I don't know if good VascoB is the only heir of the "chosen ranks" that has appeared for the past 20 years, but his album is of rare power, a mix of hope and disillusionment that struck me deeply. I'm keeping an eye on him: the first time he comes to my area, I'm going to listen to him. And then I’d be curious to see if Canali has lost more weight since the last time :)

161 reviews in less than a year and a half is more than two a week... I hope you make love with the same frequency. The review has some very beautiful passages, but I feel that it loses some momentum in others. By the way, I don't like this thing where you fixate on one artist and start churning out reviews at a fast pace, exhausting their discography: in my opinion, the ideal for someone wanting to get to know an artist is to read the opinions of multiple reviewers on their various works. And this way, you prevent those who don’t want to post duplicates from discussing artists that end up becoming your exclusive domain. I listen to the record rarely, but I like it.
