I didn't know them. I'm listening to them now. And they're really cool! And you're not bad either... (aumma aumma)

A simple yet very nice review. They don’t seem to be exactly in my wheelhouse, essentially because baldness, a variable rate mortgage, and a hint of prostatitis prevent me, at this particular stage of my life (which has lasted approximately 15 years…), from appreciating sunny indie pop. But good for you anyway.
Mogwai Rave Tapes

I've listened to it quite a few times since its release and I still find it very enjoyable. Not a masterpiece, nothing transcendental, almost certainly not at the top of their discography, yet good. The more time passes, the more they confirm themselves to be a cut above the various imitators who, over the years, have jumped on the post-rock bandwagon. Just to stay in line with the post of the third millennium, and pulling in one of the most "classic" pieces in terms of structure and dynamics, the very Hexon Bogon outshines a good portion of the competition. I might be biased, but I really struggle to find another band in the genre that manages to use sounds so well and fit together so many effective melodic lines.

However, it is interesting to note how even on this page, the changes to the site have brought to light some "migrations through Satomi of the Bee Hive" which are no joke. Aside from the well-known Geenoo - Massimof, I see that the reviewer has also managed to split themselves quite effectively... In any case, the review deserves a 5 just for "petting a 5 fingers".

True: the review is very good. But my experience with the Onanist of Providence is very similar to that of Nes. Almost force-fed in my tender age because I was obsessed with horror, metal, and all those kinds of stories, these days I wouldn't dream of picking it up again. Exceptional beyond all limits when it comes to creativity, inspiration, visionariness, and a thousand other things, but the writing style is too far from my tastes. I remember almost feeling physical pain while reading the highly celebrated "At the Mountains of Madness." To say, if I could remember where I put Poe’s books, stories like "The Cask of Amontillado" I would re-read in a heartbeat!

Aside from the fact that I haven't edited a review in 15 years and with this one I feel like I’ll need another 15 years off, the page and the proposal are the kind that, to quote my high school janitor, make this place “special from the others.” This CD-ROM thing is awesome; the whole issue of the meeting between technology, improvisation, and shamanism is blood-to-the-nose exciting. Well done!
Laghetto Sonate in bu minore per quattrocento scimmiette urlanti

Not being familiar with a racco of the ardcore scene, I just discovered them recently and only because they are partly part of Marnero. This week, I went to a concert of the latter: on the table was the super box set of the Laghetto discography for 10 euros. Totally worth it and I'm extremely happy. I’ve been blasting this lately and I really like it a lot.

What a story... Lolli and Endrigo simultaneously on home page! Basically, we are witnessing the birth of a New Wave of singer-songwriter reviews just as Debaser is dying... What a shame.

Seen (a bit late...). I liked it! The first quarter of an hour was a bit (a lot) boring for me, but then it picked up nicely. There are some great ideas (especially the one about confusing omens of malevolent presence with withdrawal paranoia), the whole scene with the nail gun is pretty cool, and the ending is delicious. Then there are some nice laughs, like the dialogue: "Disgusting junkie" "I’m done with that shit," which, considering the director, the type of movie, and the scene in which it’s said, is so surreal it's just perfect! Same goes for the story with the defibrillator: the way the "construction" of it is filmed already hints that we are gearing up for the super nonsense of the movie, and I'm fine with that. However, regarding the characters, I think we are a bit below the minimum standard, even for productions like this, in the sense that the blonde girl (the protagonist's girlfriend) basically starts to exist just a minute before getting possessed, and the tension between the protagonist and the blonde hippie is continuously hinted at but (unless I missed something) never really developed, so it’s all for nothing. In any case: for me, it gets a full pass!

Great review. I read the review somewhere, I can't remember where (maybe on Spietati.it), and I promised myself to get it. Well done, well done.
