I swear that among all the crimes I could be accused of, multimedia stalking isn’t one of them! :DD! I even have a witness! If I’m not mistaken, I was talking about it a few days ago with Trell: "strange that Psycho hasn’t reviewed the Black Hollies yet, I think he’d like them!" :D Look, I really haven’t listened to their album much, but it doesn’t seem bad at all: good melodies and a bit of an acid guitar. Plus in the video (thank you very much!) they look pretty goofy, and that’s a good thing! I’ve also heard/read conflicting opinions about the Freeks: the guys at the store recommended them to me. But last month I tried to check out Blow Up and they were ripping it apart: if I’m not mistaken, they dismissed it as kind of a bait for tone-deaf young birds. Whatever! In the meantime, I went back to dig up the last email exchange I had with those guys: on the list of recommended listens, there were also Otis Optic & the Option People. Should I make an effort to listen to something?!

I instead forgot to ask you about this, Psycho: the guys from that shop I mentioned (which, by the way, has the same name as you!!:DD) recommended to me: Spectrum Meets etc etc (haven't listened to them yet..), Freeks (a supergroup made up basically of all the members of all the stoner bands or thereabouts, present, past, and future), and especially, The Black Hollies (very sixties psych stuff, I've only listened to them a couple of times: super retro but not bad at all). Have you listened to them? What's the expert's opinion?!

After reading it, I went to watch the video on YouTube. I'm still a bit shocked... The only certainty I cling to is the vote for the review. Always masterful. Reading your work is a great source of spiritual enrichment for me! :D

Ah two things: 1) Hesperus for me is like Excalibur for Fantozzi in Fantozzi contro tutti.. every time I try to say it or write it, something different comes out: "Esepserus!", "Eperibus!", "Sperururus!", "Franco!". Honestly, I'm starting to see it as a sign of destiny. 2) soundwave.blogspot seems like a beautiful place!!! thanks Fest!

Personally, I said enough to Amazon a few months ago. I change my tastes very easily and I even tried to wait six months for an order to arrive. Basically, now that the records were arriving, I found them already ten euros cheaper and I cared half as much as when I had ordered them. I found a little shop in Milan that has quite a few reissues from Akarma, some vinyl records, and enough recent stuff (except for The Heads, of course!!) And I’ll make do with that. With the tight budget I have, I can't afford to spend big amounts. Especially since I burnt my last savings on Jex Thoth!:DDD. I tried to put Hepserus in the car to listen to it, but after ten seconds the passengers threatened me with a broken beer bottle, and since then nothing came of it. But if you tell me it's worth it, I could give it another shot…

Damn the Grails!!! Discovered at the beginning of this year and never let go: Burning Off Impurities comes back to my stereo like a cold in winter. That's some thick stuff, no doubt about it, €18.20 spent very well! I need to decide to give the latest one another chance, filed away too early as not "punchy" enough. As for Acrimony, I'll just say this: they are the band that completely changed my listening habits! Tumuli is THE psych/stoner/doom album!
