@Sfascia: Your Majesty! I hadn't read your comment, forgive me! But how?! And you're even asking me?! Are you trying to tempt me... instigate me... tease me!! So be it!! Ahhh... the unbearable lightness of 1+1... ;)))

@Fra: I confess that I really miss the Blue Cheer from the "second period"... I mean: I've heard such a unanimous wave of negative judgments that I've never even bothered to get their records. Especially since I found the first two + bonus video on Amazon for a bullshit price like 7 fuckin' dollars! Hell yeah!! :DD For anyone who wants to "taste" these three misfits, I recommend taking a look on YouTube: you can basically find about half (or thereabouts, I haven't checked) of their performance at Roadburn 2008 in the tiny Batcave. The audio and video won't be BluRay quality, but I'd say they're sufficient to get a sense of it...

mmm...to be honest, I don’t even know myself. With the nonsense of Valentine's Day, I couldn’t watch it until the end. For sure, I was rooting for some guys dressed like Sancho Panza with some really cool mustaches. Then, between us, ever since Maestro Pregadio is no longer around, it doesn’t even seem like the real Corrida anymore. It feels like a bit of its original spirit has been lost... as if Jerry Scotti's Derango were in free fall, you know!

and I add: and so you don't even know who won the Corrida! bah! P.S.: the DeRango of this review is in free fall!! :DD

@zzzzzzzz: to be honest, back then I was undecided whether to review this or "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close," and I considered having the individual characters speak in the first person. Something like: "My name is Leo Gursky. Today I am old, but once I wrote a book... Anyway.", "My name is Alma Singer, my mother is a translator... Anyway." And so on, for each of the main characters. For each one, I would have talked about the book and what it represents for them... something like that, in short! I guess I was right to let it go! :DD

@Barbanera: let me tell you this story. Back in college, I collected money to buy a graduation gift for one of my best friends. I knew I wouldn’t get all the money back, but I really wanted to give him a nice gift. In the end, I remember I ended up losing more than 50 euros. Unfortunately, after a while, we had a fierce fight and so, when it was my turn to graduate, he didn’t even contribute his share to buy me a gift. You see, our stories, different yet so similar, remind me of a line from an old Neapolitan blues: "Maruzzella, Maruzzè'... t'hê miso dint'a ll'uocchie 'o mare e mm'hê miso 'mpiett'a me nu dispiacere..."

Here I am!! A huge thank you to everyone for stopping by and for the comments. @Sfascia: this review is for you, beyond the nonsense and silly links. The reason is just for me to know! ;)) @Mich and Dottò: this album is really cute. Honestly, it's nothing worth tearing out your hair over, but I think the attitude of these three rascals makes all the difference. I've read some reports from their live shows... and they are almost endearing. They travel with just their instruments and a couple of pairs of underwear, yet they still aim to crush it! I know they’ve changed the guitarist and that a new album should be coming out soon: those who have heard it say it's much better than this one!! @popoloitaliano: to tell the truth, they played about a year ago at Cox19 in Milan! ;)) Thanks again to everyone!!!

I wouldn't have written it like that. But I think it's better this way. :)
