@Senmayan: forgive me dear, but have you read the review and/or the comments?! Did you see the rating I gave to the album?! No, because I think we think alike! :))

I'm listening to the latest "Nuevo Orden de la libertad" right now: on the first listen, I would say it’s a bit disappointing... too straightforward, too rock, too sung, and too little psychedelic. Who knows, maybe it will grow on me with more listens!

I have this!! Someone passed it to me, I can't remember who, and I never returned it! It's a nice little disc, quite fun: it’s pop, but not too much, it’s alternative, but not too much, and there are those moments when the guitars suddenly become more powerful, making it not too radio-friendly. But above all, there are beautiful melodies, catchy just enough, but not cloying or overly sweet. By the way, they were really young at the time: all in all, a debut to be proud of. Great review! :))

"A record that smells like black and white cinema" is beautiful... I really liked the review: short, but effective. Well done! :))

I completely miss those Ten... who knows what I've missed!! :DD In the meantime, I went to look through my old CD collection and found some horrifying stuff. Aside from the reissue of Too Late To Pray by Tyrant (which I might review in 2015), I also found a record by Heaven's Gate: a classic example of a band that was neither infamous nor praised, which – as far as I can remember – never quite managed to capitalize on the genre's success. The benchmarks in this regard – aside from the bands we've already mentioned – were certainly Grave Digger (where, if I'm not mistaken, Schmidt is currently playing!): starting out as one of the scruffiest bands in the entire scene and ending up filling venues after the release of Tunes Of War! :))
