Well... frankly, I didn't like the review at all. Not only do you treat the first and second series as if they were the same thing, but you also got the character who wants to remember Jesus wrong – it's not Ken, it's Toki. In the end, you just made fun of the well-known absurdities of the cartoon (which, by the way, are present in every Japanese animation... see Giusty's review of Holly and Benji). In fact, you forgot quite a few of them. There’s Fudo from the mountain who changes size pretty much every episode, just like Raul’s horse, Souther’s suspicious attachment to his master, the absurd cruelty of certain scenes (I remember one where a guy is forced to dance on a hot metal plate), the universe-destroying blow...

@Anatas: dear, to be honest, I'm a few years older than you! ;)) When I talk about the generation of robot UFOs and the like, I’m referring to those born in the early '70s who actually saw the first broadcasts of the super robots from the '70s. We (you and I) got stuck with reruns or, anyway, a second generation of little robots, like Voltron (the one with the 5 lions that came together: for me, it's one of the coolest robots out there, but let's not get into the robot talk or I'll start rambling). Take, for example, Gundam (maybe the best robot series ever): I barely have a hazy memory of it... I wanted to say more, but since I’m in a meeting and if they catch me writing, they’ll take away my bicycle seat, maybe I'll pass by another time! :))

That's why it sounded wrong to me!! :DDD And come on, brat, it doesn't seem to me that the various Jeeg, UFO robot, and the rest of the bunch were masterpieces: the plots were super stereotyped and ALL the same, mostly self-contained episodes, and the psychological depth of the characters was zero... right?! The only real stud remains Ken Shiro! :DD
