The review starts from a wrong assumption. The fact, that is, that this MUST be a nu-metal album. Back in the day, many referred to it as "crossover" because it was somewhat a mix of different things: there was some hip hop (mediocre: Shinoda, or whatever his name is, is a bit of a bore), there were the big guitars, and, most importantly, the element that - practically by itself - took it out of the nu-metal scene, there was a lot of melody. In my opinion, this is a good heavy radio rock album: there are some very good ideas (the ending of Papercut, One Step Closer, for example) and Cipster, or whatever his name is too, really put in some effort on this album. Clearly, if you want nu-metal, you'll have to look for it elsewhere...

Beautiful review. One of the best I’ve read lately. It feels like a sincere love for the author and their prose emerges. Among my favorites.

@Larrok: I guess we have to wait for the bosses to come back from vacation... I'm starting to flag it! ;))

@Larrok: if you go to that page, you’ll see that the hypothesis had already been taken into consideration... but 200,000 visits is still quite remarkable. If I remember correctly, that page reached 40,000 visits when it had something like 5 comments! There are my reviews from 3 years ago that still haven't surpassed 300! :DD

Probably, if it could be opened, it would quickly reach 4,000. That page is enchanted: just adding a single greeting comment triggers an incredible frenzy themed around Dream Theater. Easycure has been responding promptly and courteously to every remark for 5 years now!

Among the most visited reviews, the one about the Psychick Warriors of Gaia by Hypnosphere Boy remains unmatched: Psychick Rythms, Volume 1 - Psychick Warriors Ov Gaia - Recensione di hypnosphere boy TWO HUNDRED AND EIGHTY THOUSAND visits... (and something like 30 comments!:DD)
Ufomammut + Lento + Morkobot live @ Musica W Festival, Castellina Marittima 13.08.09

I still haven't managed to see the UFI live. Every time they play, there's always some mess on my end... as for the Morkobot, I can confirm: live, they are devastating. It's really hard to understand how they can make all that noise with just two basses (and two picnic tables of effects, but whatever...).

True! The review of easycure is now part of debaserian mythology! I've been trying to open it for two days, but it's not cooperating... even the one about Fabri Fibra by McSampyr (I think) had more... where the Human Cases Ranking was born, I mean.

@Alfredo: no no!! to be honest, I have NEVER liked them. A couple of years ago, I had to take a friend to one of their concerts, so I did a "deep dive" into their albums: what a drag... They’re good, don’t get me wrong, but such a drag. In general, it's female singers who don’t excite me. The only one who amused me back in the day was the first frontwoman of The Gathering, whose name I can’t remember...

No, come on, but seriously... do even females fart?!? I can't believe it...
