It doesn’t seem to me that PJ dressed like Nirvana... Frankly, I don’t remember Cobain wearing cut-off pants below the knee, basketball shoes, and rolled-down socks at the ankles, or a cowboy hat or a beanie turned backward. And those flannel shirts, I think Kyuss wore them back then too... As for "speaking grunge," I wouldn’t know: regarding the lyrics, there seem to be deep differences; in interviews (the ones that aired on TV, not the mega relics found in basements that are now circulating on YouTube), Cobain often acted like a laconic goof... I don’t know...

Anyway, Franci, I didn't understand your sentence: "The PJ were really a trendy band." Are you saying that in a musical or media sense?!? I liked Panico's comment: "There was a need for these things at that time." I agree... a sentence like that was also told to me by my life teacher and spiritual guide, Azzo.

I quote Franci: well done in pointing out things I would have never heard of otherwise, but I gladly pass on the proposal.

@Panic: I don't really get this... the father?!? GI-Joe?! X-Men? Spiderman?!..."5"?!? and then this doesn’t "almost reach the point of death." This guy is really dead!:D!

@Purpu: hi dear, sorry for replying with such an unacceptable delay! I know Litmus and I like them a lot, even though maybe they are just a little too "square" (something I don't find, for example, in Farflung, just to stay within the space genre...). I haven't listened to the latest "Aurora" yet, but I've read very positive reviews. Of the two previous ones, I prefer "Planetfall", but "You are here" (which is still good) has the advantage of a very, very nice cover... :))

A beautiful, succulent record just the way I like it. And by the way, it was introduced to me by the Festwcone, so I like it even more. Take that!

Reverend, please tell me which album you recommend starting with these guys. Good reviews, Bisio!

Come on. The album has been out for about 72 hours. And it’s not even complete. Moreover, it was highly anticipated by a large segment of the audience, even among those who usually don’t hang around the dùm scene. And the review is rather disappointing, let’s be honest, because it smells of "stuff written quickly to be the first": it talks more about who plays on the album than about how the album actually sounds. Basically, it could have been written even without listening to the album... then again, who knows.
