Dalton Trumbo E Johnny prese il fucile

Needless to say, I also got to know the book through One by Metallica! :D! I'm replying to you and taking the opportunity to mention a couple of things that I didn't include in the review: Trumbo made Johnny's story somewhat of a lifelong project. He wrote the book in '38, then worked (under a pseudonym to avoid censorship) for many years as a screenwriter (I think he collaborated on the screenplay for Spartacus, but I might be mistaken...) and then, in '71 (if I recall correctly), he even directed a film of it. I tried to search for the book cover, but I couldn't find it anywhere. I own an old copy from 1984 published by Bompiani, and the cover is more or less the same as the DVD (it also has the red hand in the background and the soldier in the foreground). So in the end, I gave up and used the one from the movie! :))

Due to various technological issues, I am only now able to indulge in such delightful listening. Happy New Year, Psycho, and thank you so much for this tip!

"Putting Nuno down on Osho and motivating him like you did seemed like a show-off move." But I didn't actually motivate anything! I merely left a two-line comment where the first is an excerpt from the review, and the second is a tasteless joke. And I gave it a 1 because the pearls of wisdom in question seemed like monstrous bullshit to me. Period. It’s YOU who, based on a rating given to a book, took the liberty of judging a person and offending them. "Inviting me to write two reviews (twice, for a total of 4 reviews) seemed like a show-off move." I repeat: just as much as judging me based on a one-line comment. "I'd like to point out that in my opinion, someone who gives Osho a 1 in this way (...), deserves a harsh comment, and I had the guts to craft one." DESERVES?! Who do you think you are?! The moralizer of the web?! Seriously... so your purpose would be to re-educate everyone who offends the sacred word of Osho? And then: “harsh comment”?! You judged and offended me. Period. You didn’t even bother to try to enlighten me about the value of the work. "But I think a signal should have been sent: you don’t rate Osho a 1 without having read it." And you, judging and offending a person without knowing them? Isn’t that even worse? And then, excuse me, how do you know what my readings have been or are? How do you know if I’ve read Osho or not? I repeat: you don’t know me, you know nothing about me, aside from the 4 bullshit I wrote on this site. "Rather, rate the reviewer, perhaps tearing them apart, because in their way, they poorly motivated their reasons." They didn’t motivate anything at all! They merely summarized the “essence” of the work! If they had bashed the review, it could have been argued that the review is nothing more than what’s written in the book. And surely, someone would have accused me of rating the reviewer and not the review. So, rating the work was correct. "And you go read Jack Frusciante è uscito dal gruppo for the 14th time (...) And by the way, while at sixteen I was reading Osho, you were reading Brizzi." People like me? People like you? What a boast! Give me a break!! :DD I think reading too much Osho has gone to your head... Now you even judge me for what I was/what I read at 16!? And you come here to show off (or be a show-off?) because at 16 you were already reading Osho! And then you call ME a show-off for a two-line comment? Really, man, change your notebook and send a couple of reviews! ;))

I don't weigh in on a review at all, since I haven't voted on it. I "weigh in" (possibly, and always in an ironic way, as can be inferred from the multiple little smiles at the end of the comment) on the content of a work as it has been presented to me by the reviewer. You, on the other hand, weigh in on a person (myself) whom you don't know, who hasn't done anything to you, and whom you dare to judge and label as a "braggart" based on a two-line comment, one of which is an excerpt from the review. I joke, you offend... who knows what Osho would say about you! By the way, I see that since you stopped reviewing for this site, you've lost your touch with the keyboard. I repeat: send a couple of reviews, mien, you'll see that then it will pass! ;))

I'm listening to it again right now after I don't know how long. Really nice. To be honest, I don't hear much garage or Soundgarden in it, but stikatsi.

And you, who come here, read a two-line comment of mine and feel entitled to judge me, how would you define yourself?! Come on, mien, write a couple of reviews to pass the time! ;)

Five months have passed and, in the meantime, my prediction from comment 216 has come true and the gaming section has confirmed itself as the worst ad of the last 150 years of debasica history. Just look at the current Nervous-New section, which is practically nonexistent. Not to twist the knife in the wound, but... "I told you so!!" hehehhe...
