Quentin Tarantino Bastardi Senza Gloria

Actually, 3 because the whole idea of the 8 bastards is managed really poorly.
Quentin Tarantino Bastardi Senza Gloria

Watched this week: as far as I'm concerned, it's far from a masterpiece, but 1) there are some truly excellent sequences (the often mentioned opening interrogation scene) 2) at times it's rather cheeky 3) Walz is consistently deserving of applause 4) Pitt's face is starting to swell like pizza dough. However, in some parts it felt a bit too disjointed, a bit too much of a "collage of individual spine-breaking scenes," and, above all, Tarantino has now sliced it up and put it in the pan to fry with this citationism and this cinema within cinema, within cinema, etc. 4 (for excess) because it had been a while since I last saw a film in peace!

But this page is wonderful!! Medallion brothers, where have you gone?! The review is great too: a notice that seems very interesting. Well done!
Osho Il piccolo libro della Vita Reale

I don’t understand: only those who have read Osho, who know that “sex opens the third eye,” that “orgasm in France is called the little death,” and that Christ had “such refined powers” that he didn’t need sex to connect with the divine, can write and talk? And, above all, can those who know all these things call themselves “great connoisseurs of the universe and the laws that govern it”?!

@Sfascia: I tried, but besides being horrifically chromatic (emerald green border, smog gray background, ruby red hand) and having "A classic of non-violence" printed in size 72, it also has chewed-up corners. In short: the result was a mess! Thanks a lot anyway! :)) @Casamorta: actually, it was reprinted - I think - in 2006. The film is, all in all, faithful to the original and is relatively easy to find: it’s not a masterpiece, partly due to Trumbo's inexperience as a director, but some sequences are noteworthy. Some of them can be found on YouTube (in English): for example, I was very impressed by the scene where Johnny realizes that his arms have been amputated up to the shoulder. Moreover, the film has an even more tragic ending (too much, really...), so you can imagine what a celebration that is!! :)

What do you mean lend it? It's not even mine... back in the day (I'd say about 15 years ago), I must have visited countless bookstores to find it, but everyone told me it was out of print and there were no plans for a reissue. In the end, I discovered that my desk mate had a copy, I borrowed it, and... uh... I kind of """forgot""" to give it back to her. As I mentioned, it's a 1984 edition, and let's say it hasn't remained immune to the passage of time: if it changes owners again, it'll turn to dust!
