Ah no, well... for "catching" it’s not that they catch much of me either: in fact, I believe I've listened to it in its entirety only a handful of times (I think I listened to the EP Kingdom a lot more), but, as you say, my illuminating Festucone, given the trend of late...

@Purpu: the record isn't bad at all. Clearly, it's the "usual" Blue Cheer + Hawkwind sound, but the final result is interesting! I think we've definitely lost good old Sorge for good: in the ranking of the 100 most influential records of the 2000s, he describes Roahpowder as "post Entombed sound with a brutal deathcore matrix" (?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?) and places Black Mountain at 7th.

As far as I'm concerned, one of the best heavy-psych releases of 2009. I’d say it’s a cut above some highly anticipated releases that ended up disappointing me deeply (read: Ancestors and Shrinebuilder). It’s not really related, but 1) I’m seriously reevaluating Pilzmarmelade by Titan 2) I’m only now realizing that I still haven't listened to the latest Litmus.

@Nes: reconstructing the Polettian epic is too daunting a task for one man alone. That's why we've assembled a task force of historians, cryptographers, and puzzle makers to draft "The Chronicles of Poletti - Volume I," € 16.80, 584 pages, Bompiani. You can also read all his comments, but you won’t be able to grasp the intrinsic and extrinsic richness of the character (which I really miss a lot, but oh well...). Perhaps the best thing is to read his ranking of the greatest films in cinema history, with The Simpsons in first place and Citizen Kane in second! :DD

I'm not entirely sure, but I believe I saw them performing alongside some German group towards the end of the '90s: very good live. I also have some vague but fond memories of the album.

I remember a comment exchange from a few years ago, still at the top of my personal ranking: Anonymous User: "I am Burzum, and I come down from the mountains with my spiked club!!!" Registered User: "Burzum, do you know where I'm going to stick that club?!" Anonymous User: "No, come on... I was just kidding..."

If I drink a Coke in one go, I can take the dog for a walk without leaving the room I'm in. But it has to be the caffeine-free one.

Sure, but then he would lose consciousness because of his own breath. I believe he had surgery recently: they had to line his stomach with Kevlar.

A friend of mine used to drink Coca Cola with half a squeezed lemon in it right after waking up to cure his hangover. I don’t think it worked much, but he was really convinced it was a miracle cure...

But I think I'm missing this! However, if you say it's so beautiful, I'll get it, okay? I have a record by Sparta but I can’t remember the name. However, I remember there were two songs that I liked. But I can't recall the titles. And I don't remember how they sounded either... In short, it seems that Sparta didn’t leave an indelible mark on me.
