Personal taste really seems to play a huge role. For instance, I've always struggled with overly long series. Back in the day (just to give you some context: I bought the first issue of Kappa Magazine when it came out), I became completely obsessed with 3x3 Eyes, but by the 200th issue, where for the five millionth time Pai and Yakumo narrowly failed to become human, I had just lost my patience and dropped it. The same goes for various Ushio and Tora, Oh My Goddess, and the whole gang. It's no coincidence that my favorite author to this day remains Adachi! :))

Very nice page, cold. Simple, but not lacking in poetry. And don’t pay attention to the comments beyond human possibilities... ;)

my question, to be honest, intended to be much more "brutal" (even though from your comment the answer is already hinted at): have you ever had the feeling that Takahashi's stories last WAY TOO LONG?!? :)

I also only have a superficial knowledge of manga. However, I BELIEVE I have seen the entire series. London, I would like to know your opinion on an aspect of Takahashi's works that has always puzzled me: the length. I'm not an expert on this author, but in all her works that I have happened to see/read, the feeling is always that of a broth stretched out too long, of situations that are repeated until they become cloying (the first example that comes to mind: Ranma who is always on the verge of permanently becoming a boy). What do you think?!
