Oren Peli Paranormal Activity

Seen. Without going into specifics about the film, I'm increasingly convinced that the weak point of these kinds of products is the need for at least one idiot willing to keep filming even when Satan himself pops out of a trapdoor and starts playing the guitar like Angus Young. I mean: if I wake up at night and discover that my girlfriend has sleepwalked into the garden and is standing by the pool in shorts and a t-shirt mumbling nonsense, maybe I put down the camera and call the medical guard, right? In this case, though, the male protagonist is truly an Everest of stupidity: when he starts with the story about the Ouija board, he sounds like an 8-year-old throwing a tantrum. Ugh...

More than a review, it feels like the autopsy of the corrected Italian.

Blechannamoscia is the usual indie-snob little fish. The review is good. A bit long, but good. And you remain my trusted PHC indicator. Here you go.

Zero. I've never heard of this film, so as far as I'm concerned, it's a great recommendation. By the way, McLaine in The Conspiracy of Innocents was quite intriguing to me... Nice review, short but effective.

"This is the kingdom to which I have a right, he said. Yet within it, there are pockets of autonomous life everywhere. Autonomous. For it to belong to me, I must not allow anything to happen within it without my permission." Great catch!

"Is it perfect for tonight?!" What, is the plumber coming over again?!? Very nice page, Giovanni. And fascinating mention. Well done as usual.

Wow... that sounds really cool. I might just give it a listen. By the way, they take the logo from Voivoid and the name (almost) from a super ignorant German thrash metal band from the '80s called Vectom. At least in terms of listening, they have good taste!
John Carpenter Halloween - La Notte Delle Streghe

Good review. However, it must be said that all the elements of the slasher genre were already present in Bava's Reazione a catena, which is nearly ten years older... Great film: few resources, many, many ideas. Carpenter hadn't gone senile yet.

Holy Shit, one doesn't even have time to get sliced like a Prague ham before seeing what they're going to miss! Great job Ole. And Azzo, who after 38 years misses a concert for football reasons, is really breaking bones. 5 for life.

There's nothing to be done... every time I see Nicholas Cage's face, I think of that scene from that piece of crap brontosaurus The Wicker Man where he does a flying kick to the chick from Misery Non Deve Morire dressed as a bear... There you go, that's the classic film that changed my life.
