Between this and Dog Day Afternoon, the Lumet - Pacino pairing really gets me going. Among my favorite Pacino roles (along with Sonny and Agent Burns from Cruising, of course). Maybe not a 5, makkiseneinkoola.

I bet this has left your ass (exposed) in "shreds of obscure and indefinable existential outlines" ;)

But how cool to read your review! This one feels like it was really pulled straight from your keyboard! :D I've never really followed them. I think I've listened to just a couple of their albums (Theli is from around my most heavy metal phase), but it just doesn't do it for me. It's not my genre, and at this point, I’d say it never will be. On the other hand, I remember one of their concerts where there was a hellish frenzy at the start of their super famous song, which I can't remember the name of right now, with a chubby security guy engaging in some sort of involuntary stage diving that was pretty entertaining...

I think you've confused the television with the mirror.

No way! My ignorance beats the sublime of classical music 10 to 0. Basically, it only takes a handful of bars for me to get a migraine that’s off the charts. I can handle a little Bach, Shostakovich, and Rachmaninov. That's it. Just hearing Tchaikovsky as cellphone ringtones makes me cringe. Several years ago, I bought the complete works of Mozart with those weekly releases that start at 4 euros for two CDs and end up costing 15 euros each. No way. I couldn’t do it. I only like the Requiem Mass, the Jupiter Symphony, and a few other pieces that I can’t remember right now... As for the chicken situation: my house overlooks the SS 341. Basically, if I try to raise a chicken, the risk is that at some point it’ll be the chicken coming to me and going... SNAP!

Come on geenuccio, I was joking: soon I'm going to the supermarket to get myself one of those chickens that have been spinning on the spit since March! It will be the happiest moment of the last 16 weeks! p.s.: anyway, I think I actually came up with something intelligent... I mean: the story of the impure that can’t say it’s an impure thing... as soon as I manage to sleep more than 5 hours in a row, I'll think about it! Happy Saturday dear!:**

But even more: Article 8 of the Healthy and Strong Constitution: "You can't just shoot every nonsense that comes to your head, only to then shelter behind the freedom - which is constitutionally guaranteed - to express your thoughts freely." :)

The Latin quip made me realize that I have wasted 5 years of high school. Essentially, I'm unable to translate even the most basic of legal maxims... Moreover, those in high school today have a huge advantage: back in my day, we had to copy versions just two minutes before class started; today you can just download them from latin-for-gnùrants.org. It’s true what they say, that a clever man, when in danger, tends to come out of it by harming others... :(

The real problem is: how can you, geenoo, impure among the impure, claim the right to judge a pure work?!? In my opinion, these are statements that should never be uttered on a Saturday morning.
