I remember writing 4 or 5 of them, then I had to rush out, didn’t save the changes to the Word file, and it was never brought up again. @Dottò: well! I confess I wrote this stuff after just a handful of listens... I mean, there’s not much to delve into, considering the proposal! To be honest, I found them to be a bit more square, more rhythmic, compared to Rubalcaba's group. The second part of the first track, for example, revolves around a riff that couldn’t be more Sabbath-like. The Earthless, on the other hand, seem more focused on the solo aspect and therefore a tad more trippy. I heard a little bit-ty-ty-ty (that is: a couple of videos on YouTube) of the previous demos from Black Mombain, and it seemed to me that the stoner matrix was a bit more pronounced. In short: it's a nice album, but it's certainly not destined to make waves. At least now Black Mombain are also in DeDataBasio and I can include them in the end-of-year ranking! ;)
