It's a nice review: a bit too long (the various spoilers about the plot could have been avoided), but in my opinion, it hits the mark. I believe this chapter remains the best in the saga: it's lengthy, but it doesn't get lost in fluff throughout the first part (as will happen in the following chapters), the thickening of subplots is still quite manageable for the reader (as it will NOT be in the subsequent chapters), and there is - as you correctly point out - an effective and successful transition from the fairytale tones of the early chapters to the darker ones of the later ones. Well done, Darius.

Beyond the... mmm... "recklessness" (stupidity?!?) of sending 8 brief reviews in a row about the same artist, what shocks me the most is that this guy is complete crap to you. Out of eight albums reviewed, you gave only one 4 balls, while the others were trashed and dismissed in a few merciless lines. I don't know: it's like wanting to take a quick romp with the hideous ones in class (just to get it off your mind) rather than taking the time to delight the head cheerleader. Merry Christmas, Lordcorckscrew, and don't mind us, just look and move on. :)
