"Aimee Mann singing Save Man" Yes, "Save Man", goodnight... what is it, a movie about civil protection?!?:D

It’s an imperfect film upon closer inspection, suffering from a bit of drag (while the richness of plots and characters is great, three hours is still three hours), a few too many swear words (though Moore's monologue in the pharmacy is outstanding), and an overall "let's make an ensemble film like Altman" feel. I’ve read from various sources that it's technically far from perfect (I remember an article on cinefile.biz where Cassani complained that during the tracking shots he often lost focus, or something like that). Yet, in my opinion, it stands out, not least because of certain performances (the over-the-top Tom Cruise during the interview, Seymour Hoffman during the phone call when he orders the porn magazines, and countless others). And then, holy margherita, there's even Aimee Mann singing Save Man: the underwear definitely tightens.

In the past, on these very pages, I expressed some doubts about the already acclaimed Red Album. And more or less willingly, I became the target of mockery on the Perkele forum: the de-review and the comments from the debaserians were included in the thread "masterpieces torn apart by fools" (http://lnx.perkele.it/forumphp/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=570&start=30). :D

Be careful, the attack is definitely too much like Martina1984... ;))

Some time ago, I got hold of one of their albums whose title I don't remember, and frankly, I don't find it particularly interesting: a classic case of too much smoke (in every sense...) and no meat. Maybe this has a bit more substance. Very good at talking about it.

Great Bodler! Finally, someone who knows how to speak up and sing out, with guts but without mincing words! I really hope you stay with us for a long time: I have a feeling you’re going to bring us a lot of satisfaction!

The review would be a 1 just for the bold-uppercase combo that really can't be seen. As for the group: it seems evident to me that the intention is to soundly mock many clichés (I don't remember how to spell it...) both medallion and not. It's no coincidence that the guitarist is the "beer and sausage/middle school party" version of Kerry King, the drummer with the welding mask reminds me of certain "mysterious characters" from '80s metal (I think the drummer from Raven and/or the one from Piledriver used to wear something like that), and the singer is a living mockery of the icy dark-gothic singers with a touch of sado-masochism/fetish à la Lady Gaga that gives off a lot of Rammstein vibes. In short: so much crap that it's almost appreciable.

I didn't think there could be so many meanings in an "anchor." And I didn't think I had to be convincing... Whatever!

You are always among my favorites. One of those for whom it is still worth coming around these parts. Well done.
